What an excellent layout - seriously impressive.

It's also impressive that .TV has been so readily accepted in Australia.

...however, after watching the footage and as I share the Canberra name with MillersCrossing, I think my planned trip to Australia in 2012 to launch a geo site might be called off!!!

See this thread is the illustration of everything over the last 4 years. First off what I have always said regarding Snoop, you don't like the extension great. And your first few posts in 2005 were never deleted. Express your dislike and great move on to the next topic. The negativity for negativity sake is the problem in an area that was created for people sharing a common interest. Don't get me wrong that ended in April when I left being the mod and a new place has been created for that (AND thank you all who have come and spent some time, RECORD HIGH # of uniques today) Anyway, this is where IMO someone not liking the extension goes over the line, This thread did not ask your opinion about the investment quality of .tv.

On the flipside, Dot TV is not booming, and a new site will not make it booming. .TV will never take over the Internet, its a niche extension and when you have the right niche IMO it will do well. It is not hot, its not the next big thing, its an extension, its an opportunity to reg a name sell it or develop it, .tv is not as successful as .com ? SO what, a lot of people have not succeeded, SO what. What matters is your belief in you. Most restaurants fail, fail more than any other business. Does that mean no new ones will open ? Of course not. Will some succeed ? of course they will. BOTTOM LINE IT COMES DOWN TO YOU, STOP BLAMING EXTENSIONS this is not a team sport. JohnTV has succeeded, RL has succeeded, MillersCrossing has succeeded. Just to name a few. Now I know some will say I can name those who did not. And again I say so what. This is not a public service its an entrepreneurial endeavor, some will succeed more will fail, just like everything else in life. Again IMO

...and if you think about it, there are far more who invest in .com and fail, far more than in the .tv extension from the numbers of .com drops that there are.
