Yet those who were found guilty just received $1.8B in compensation. If far-left foreign sources had funded the J6 protest would Trump be willing to pardon and pay them off?

In a Canadian context, the Trucker Convoy protest exemplifies a double standard... the government allowed protesters to block downtown Ottawa for weeks with heavy trucks blaring horns 24/7, while First Nations who protest pipelines crossing their land are met with heavily armed RCMP officers and snipers.

How do you explain police officers' sustaining traumatic brain injuries, cracked ribs, smashed spinal discs, chemical burns, stroke and PTSD, the aftermath of which may have triggered suicide?

It's unclear how much $$$ those capitol rioters will inevitably receive; however, there is correlation between the events, both were politically motivated assaults on a nations' capitol by right-wing actors involving violence to varying degrees.

Only one lying right now is you, yet again. The injuries are well documented.

Of this number, approximately 140 were from the U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department. The officers sustained a range of severe injuries, including chemical burns from bear spray, broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and ongoing psychological trauma. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

The whole event is literally on video, many such as myself watched it live on TV. Now Trump wants to have a fund to pay these attackers off because they did it for him.

This is yet another example in how twisted Trump supporters have become in that they try to defend this event.

So let me get this straight, Trump wants to have Arctic dominance with no icebreakers?

His last parlé included threats to keep Canada out of the trilateral deal on a fleet of icebreakers (built in Finland, Canada and Texas), and then again yesterday when Pentagon withdrew from the Joint Canada/US Defence Board.

It just so happens that the new Arctic icebreaker contract is with Davie Defence, a Canadian company. Their expertise is in Arctic shipbuilding and both the Helsinki and Texas shipyards are owned by Davie.

Besides Greenland is an autonomous Danish territory (under NATO), and there's no way US can support an Arctic defence initiative without icebreakers. Trump can kiss that contract good-bye if he does something stupid again.
