I will respond to this assertion and accusation since it is false.
People from BOTH parties are concerned about government surveillance, but Republicans are more willing to have government monitor online activity and collect personal data than Democrats...

Biden declare a national emergency
once, which was an extension of Trump's Covid emergency declaration.
Obama declared
13 national emergencies including H1N1 virus outbreak, Hurricane Katrina, sanctions on countries that sponsored terrorism, transnational criminal organizations, Russian disposal of highly enriched uranium etc.
Trump has declared
21 national emergencies (more than any other president), one security (southern border) and the bulk of the rest on economic tariffs which allowed him to bypass Congress.
This is an authoritarian trend.

Furthermore, Trump declaring a national emergency in order to impose tariffs on Canada for less than 1% of all fentanyl imports was a farce (ruled illegal by SCOTUS). Almost all fentanyl entering the US comes from Mexico.
Trudeau declared a national emergency
once, only the second time in Canadian history. This is not a trend.
When have I said that I had no problem with Biden or Obama's emergency declarations? I wasn't even involved in this discussion at the time. That is a misleading statement.
You lie when you say that I had no problem with Trudeau imposing a national emergency to freeze accounts.
I didn't agree with his action.
