There's no way the system would work anyway, even NORAD defence centre deep inside a mountain in Montana wouldn't be able to withstand a nuclear bomb, let alone his bunker under the White House. If there was a nuclear holocaust, it is likely there would be no survivors and those who might would suffer even worse death.

Trump threatened to violate Canadian airspace unless Canada purchased more F-35s. Carney made a concession and purchased 14 more. This decision was not only diplomatic, but prudent, since the F-35s require continual maintenance and are grounded 50% of the time (maintenance only done in US). This has prompted RCAF to augment the fleet with SAAB Gripen fighters built in Canada (tested and proven reliable in extreme conditions). The F-35 has known issues in cold weather and therefore not particularly suitable for Arctic deployment.
