The state of the media in the west is pathetic and only feeds enough truthful content just to make people pay attention to it while brainwashing everyone with opinions absent of facts and reality. But MSM and Big Tech don't tolerate competition well and or diversity of thought. News industry has been monopolized since forever, it was more easily done in the past while internet technology has made it easier to disseminate truthful content.

Street culture is basic garbage and always has been; just getting worse.

Most countries have some form of low level street "culture" - the difference is that most countries don't glamorize it in TV, movies and music. It's not something people aspire to, but something they hope to avoid. Even Kid Rock above - I know where he grew up, a nice place. Yet he needs to look like a tough guy to make his millions. It's a resume enhancer for most celebrities to get arrested, get addicted, get into trouble...

The US is way too accepting of (if not glamorizing) thuggish behavior, and I think it has an effect on society. It causes decay.

There are always going to be thugs and lowlifes, but when they take over the street like that and twerk on top of emergency vehicles you have a real problem.

Now why would a guy who grew up here want to pretend he grew up in the ghetto, or in a trailer in the mud? Screwed up priorities.

These days I start to respect any celebrity that withholds speaking about politics unless they are speaking up against anything leftist, which feels like "end my career" death wish unless they are clearly on a gatekeeping mission.

For sure Kid Rock will pander to his fans, that is unfortunate choice of marketing, celebrating certain lifestyle and making everyone feels special for who they are Obviously he had to grow up rich and unhappy, free time and money helps you channel your energies into something creative, if he was poor he would have had to work all the time

ok I'm just passing the time here. Have no opinion on Kid Rock or his music so maybe others might offer some feedback. Most of the music and messaging is detrimental to the demographic that is being targeted. Good luck to all the kids growing up these days.

In states like California, shoplifting is only a misdemeanor ( no jail time ). Now, equity means not arresting minorities for "petty crimes".
