At least one GOP Senator was very disturbed by today’s briefing. They were told they couldnt dissent or discuss... but that’s their JOB as the legislative branch.

actually the President could have put us in war last night, he doesn’t need the house or senate, or anyone for that matter, The Marine Corps are the presidents men, he can deploy them at will. But he didn’t go there did he. He is not as quack as you make him out to be, egotistical, yes. Silly at times, yes . Even a Bafoon at times. But he isn’t near as bad as you and your people make him out to be.

Maybe we should start drug testing candidates

"58 times. He sniffed 58 times during his address."

"My favorite part of #TrumpSpeech is when he said he was willing to make a deal with Iran for peace & prosperity right after promising stiffer sanctions and blaming Obama for having made a deal with Iran."

An applicant for a C-suite job in a mid sized company gets closer scrutiny of their qualifications than the president of the United States.

Drug testing would be a good start. People want that for welfare recipients, why should the president (ie the guy who can detonate the nuclear football) be exempt?

Things for which the founding fathers never foresaw a need

Tongue jutting.

For a while I thought that was his “tell” when he consciously told a lie, but I’m not sure that theory holds up. He tells so many...

He could have ordered a military action, but actually Congress ARE the only ones who can declare war. The Constitution gave that power to the legislative branch for a reason:

The framers of the Constitution—reluctant to concentrate too much influence in the hands of too few—denied the office of the President the authority to go to war unilaterally. If America was going to survive as a republic, they reasoned, declarations of war required careful debate in open forums among the public’s representatives.
One of the things the framers found objectionable with monarchies was the ability of a king to declare war when it wasn't in the best interests of their people.

The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without a congressional authorization for use of military force

Yes Ma'am , You are correct, I should have said "Conflict" , but if Marines had entered Iran, every politician in Washington would give the green light for an all out war, i personally thought the President handled this situation very well, should Iran decide to take another bite in the apple, you may see such actions take place, You will want the best of the best Donald Trump at that time, should that happen, which i feel is extremely unlikely, but the possibility is there.

Oh, really? If they were alive today, the founding fathers would be as likely to favor mandatory drug testing as they would burning books. (For those who need further explanation, that means they would be against it.)

Bad enough cheering on the loss of human rights, worse to suggest the founding fathers would have favored it.

Democrats in Senate and now the House are telling Pelosi to stop playing games and send the impeachment documents to the Senate.

CNN's Dana Bash says Nancy is threatening dissenters.

I felt that was what happened, I saw what appeared to be a 45 degree angle .30 caliber shot to the under belly of the plane in pics that were posted on the net.
