Yeah, the democrats are gathering at Drake University....
Right down the street from us, about 20 blocks or so.
But many of the die hards here are going to skip out and watch it live.
Told one, if you can count to zero, count the USA flags you will see on stage.

Happy New Year!

Mason-Dixon Virginia poll:

Biden 49, Trump 45
Trump 48, Warren 44
Trump 51, Sanders 45
Trump 47, Buttigieg 45
Hmmmmm...

The poll respondents were 42% Dems, 30% GOP, and 28% independents... and Trump still beats 3 of them.

Why do polls ALWAYS have so many more Democrats than Republicans? I thought it was closer to 50-50 between them?

Julian Castro drops out of 2020 presidential race

Julian Castro, the former Obama housing secretary and San Antonio mayor, has dropped out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The only Latino in the field, Castro established himself as one of the more progressive members in the primary race but had been struggling to raise money and fight his way back onto the debate stage.

Their dropping like flies....

Why do polls ALWAYS have so many more Democrats than Republicans? I thought it was closer to 50-50 between them?

Large population centers like CA, NY are mostly democrat. That is why liberals have decided they hate the electoral college.

Since we are a republic by design, not a democracy, each state selects delegates based on votes in those states. The delegates vote for the president. The states decided who the delegates are and how they are selected.

A swing state like Wisconsin may vote republican by a few thousand votes, but the state would award all the delegates to a candidate.

Democrats want to end the delegate system. Sates on the east and west coast where most of the population lives would decide who is President.

Next time the pearl clutching progressives act horrified over something President Trump says about a political opponent ( even a dead one ); remind them of how the media and many of their leaders acted when our embassy in Iraq was attacked by Iranian militia.

@JoyAnnReid
As Trump's Benghazi unfolds in Iraq...

Many of them hoped someone would die so they could attack the President.

They hoped for a recession, Accused teenage cadets and midshipman of being white supremacist without proof then demanding they be punished; They've attacked a group of Catholic students again, without proof.

Let's just ignore the insults they use on the President. They're still no better than he is.

While Barrack Obama was spending millions arming every obscure federal agency he could find, raiding farms and raw food collectives using federal agents dressed like swat teams. Used the IRS to harass political opponents, used relatives of his staff to promote the idea the tea party were terrorist, militias were dangerous radicals, jailed reporters and their sources, actually obstructed justice protecting Hillary, fined people for collecting rain water, damaged pasture, put a father and son in jail for a back-burn that stopped a fire threatening their entire farm, concocted Russia collusion story to hurt President Trump.. I could go on an on but I won't.

When they talk about civil war, remind them what happens if freedom looses.
