Rudy’s Ukraine Henchmen Arrested on Campaign-Finance Charge

Two Soviet-born businessmen with ties to Rudy Giuliani were arrested on Wednesday on federal charges of violating campaign finance laws through a six-figure donation they facilitated to President Donald Trump’s official super PAC.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman were taken into custody in New York, the Wall Street Journal reported. The FBI confirmed their arrests to The Daily Beast on Wednesday morning.

Parnas and Fruman are charged with making illegal straw donations, including a $325,000 contribution to the group America First Action. As The Daily Beast first reported, that donation actually came from an entirely different, undisclosed company owned by Parnas. It is illegal to donate to federal political candidates in the name of another person or entity.

Fox News Poll: Record support for Trump impeachment

Just over half of voters want President Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a Fox News Poll released Wednesday.

A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but don’t remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.

With numbers like that, I wonder why Pelosi and Schiff aren't holding a house vote to have a formal impeachment investigation? Sounds like a no-brainer.

Normally, impeachment investigation would be by the judiciary committee and Jerry ( does my tie have pie on it ) Naddler.

Instead, we have dramatic fiction being read at the opening of the investigation, secret hearings with tiny bits of information being leaked by Adam ( honest abe ) Schiff.
