A bit intellectually lazy, a tiny nation on the island of Borneo, just over 400,000 people. To take that and paint a whole religion. It is backwards as hell. You can equally blame this on Conservatism. They're also chopping off hands for stealing. You blame not the religion but the person actually implementing it.

Please name a time in the USA when there was a federal law against homosexuality based on a fundamental interpretation of the Bible.

Many US states had laws against homosexual relations, those laws went away in the 60's. If I remember correctly, Countries in Europe like the UK ended those laws in the 60's also.
