Keep in mind that the scoping of the report was about alleged collusion between Russians and the Trump campaign. In other words, it's about the electoral process and not Trump's long-time business dealings with Russia.

Actually the scope was even a little narrower than that. The Russian GOVERNMENT and the trump campaign. Not oligarchs and other entities (who may be working on behalf of the government, but unless there is solid proof that theyโ€™re government linked they are out of scope.)

And the investigation was to see if anyone โ€œconspired or coordinated withโ€ them. โ€œCollusionโ€ is not a legal term, so technically โ€œcollusionโ€ would never be established, regardless of evidence or lack thereof. Legal wording is precise like that.

Itโ€™s interesting that potus and friends are (and have been all along) deliberately using a term that legally was never in contention. Of course โ€œcollusionโ€ wasnโ€™t proven, and it never will be.

Word games.

Barrโ€™s quote from the report:

โ€œThe investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.โ€

Hereโ€™s another legal word game: You can have a โ€œpreponderance of evidenceโ€ but if you cannot show โ€œbeyond a reasonable doubtโ€ legally speaking you cannot say you have โ€œestablishedโ€ anything.

My tax dollars paid for that report, I want to see it. Not Barrโ€™s cliff notes.

One would think an innocent person would WANT to show the report to the world to clear their name once and for all.

After Hillary lost, President Barack Obama's administration chose to attack Donald Trump and his campaign rather than try to stop the Russians.

Maybe Pres. Obama was too embarrassed after sending his campaign team to Israel to help liberals defeat Prime Minister Netanyahu and failing.

Just make everything including all FBI, DOJ and notes from Muller's team public.

First keep in mind that "collusion" is not a crime. It's a scary and poorly defined word used to get people excited

Yes, and day old popcorn is sometimes sold in movie theatres. Who cares? The USA has been influencing and undermining elections around the world for a century now. If trying to influence an election is an act of war, then the USA is at war with the world. Americans should be embarrassed to even complain about this. In any case, Russian influence was negligible. If it wasn't, then that's another reason for Americans to be embarrassed. They really need to look in the mirror before putting on these pathetic displays of indignation.

Nor does it state that you are not guilty of any charge "past present and future". Or me. Or Mickey Mouse. Let's just throw everyone in prison, just in case, shall we? Really, this is the sort of "justice" that Russian is supposed to be famous for. Maybe you are the ones being influenced by Russia.

I love it when democrats say there's no proof Hillary helped Russia get gain control over a significant % of USA mined uranium. Except they paid her foundation hundreds of millions $$, then she helped RU purchase the uranium on a pinky promise they wouldn't export it. Which they did.

Donald Trump wanted to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, the capital of Russia and the same democrats are sure that makes him a Russian agent.

Are people arguing about editing posts again? Thatโ€™s allowed, thatโ€™s why we have an edit button. To fix things when auto(in)correct is on drugs and throws nonsense words into your post, for example. Or when people want to rephrase or add something and donโ€™t want to clutter the forum with multiple posts.

If you know somebody edits frequently, just wait a little longer before replying.

Sheesh!

What the report does not state: Trump is not guilty of any charge, past present and future.
It is not a get out of jail card.

This is America. Every citizen has the presumption of innocence. Unless there is evidence a crime was committed, you can't arrest people. Unless a person is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and a jury of his peers agrees, you can't put people in jail without a chance to pay bond for their freedom.

Other investigations are still ongoing and whatever the outcome the findings may be not so flattering.

What you're proposing is continued legal harassment based on your bias, not evidence.

I don't call the shots. When justice is set in motion it has to proceed.

Until recently everyone was wondering why 45 was fulminating against the investigation, calling Mueller a disgraced and discredited man (borderline obstruction of justice) if he knows he's innocent, and the investigation was going to prove it. Somebody who has nothing to hide would just keep quiet and not scream witch hunt and discredit the investigation at every turn.
How the mood can change.

Of course it's not pleasant to be in the spotlight like this, but he drew it upon himself. When you surround yourself with corrupt people, people start questioning your honesty.

Lock her up he said. Where is the due process ?

Russian efforts to influence the 2016 US presidential election have been established, the question was whether Trump and his staff had knowledge and conspired with Russia to interfere with the elections.

trump and his staff had knowledge and conspired with Russia to win that election. I am waiting for these other investigations that could finally put a end to trump.

Investigation ended without finding a crime. You want people to keep investigating until they find one. You would be crying and screaming about the injustice if it was you.

Until recently everyone was wondering why 45 was fulminating against the investigation,

Right... have you every been falsely accused of a crime that could send you to prison for life? You people are nuts.

By her own admission " she " and her entourage committed crimes while handling classified information. "She", her husband and her daughter ran a corrupt charity that took money in exchange for political influence. No calls from people like you to investigate that.

FBI lawyer testified to congress in a closed meeting that President Obama nixed the investigation in to her criminal negligence.

But "she's" fyre!

I'd also like to know how his son in law was given a security clearance when he didn't meet the qualifications for having one. And why he's "whatsapp"ing Saudi Arabia. (If this was a few years ago before they hardened Whatsapp, we'd all know ;) )

Another thing on that report. Why didn't Barr just release the executive summary? Standard part of lengthy reports like this. There should be an unclassified executive summary and conclusion, that was intended be published and distributed. Unless Mueller was quietly given orders to stop before he wrote it up.

EPA jailed a 70 year old veteran for digging a pond to supply water for fire-fighters. Fined $130K, put in prison for 20 months for digging 2, 1 foot deep ponds on his own property. He filled the ponds from a small creek.

He's dead now.
https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/03/28/clean-water/

The Supreme Court will hear a case this month that could reverse the precedent that federal courts should let Gov agencies like the EPA interpret their own vaguely written rules. Like trying to regulate water run off as "navigable waters".

This is a picture of the "navigable waters". What kind of Government bureaucrat would charge a man with a crime for using water from his own land to protect his home? What kind of judge would put a man in prison for this?

The President of the United States gave Jarod his security clearance. Legal with a long precedent.

The answer: ME and I assume, being falsley accused, you would too.

If I was falsley accused, say, of burglary. People were telling the local paper and TV news, that there it was obvious that I did it; that my job could be in jeopardy because of those false accusations; that my friends and family were being slandered because of it; that even stragers who I did not know in the neighborhood were being harrassed, assaulted, ostracized in the comunity, because they believed me: you better believe I would not be sitting back in my recliner saying no prob, I am innocent. I would be shouting out my innocence, and if I could afford it hire a lawer to go to battle for me. And, although I don't know you, I am sure you would be, too.

One big difference though, you do not have supreme authority including the power to fire prosecutors etc. The Potus is supposed to show restraint because he has a special duty to safeguard the institutions.
He is not an ordinary defendant but on the other hand he also enjoys immunity not available to anybody else.

So far, he has been a crybaby whining about everything. A real president does not constantly blame others for his failures, a despot does.

He could have stayed silent all along and enjoy victory. Instead he behaved like a very very nervous man who has something to hide.
So all the drama is entirely is. He'd rather quit Twitter and focus on his job.

As President T. Roosevelt called it, he has a bully pulpit. Why not use it like any president did and will do.

So all the drama is entirely is.
I am assuming the word after "is" was intended to be "his"

I almost spit out my coffee reading that. (it was an enjoyable laugh)

Drama ALL President Trump's...none belongs to:

Rachel Maddow
Chris Matthews
Jim Acosta
Adam Shiff
Jake Tapper
