Cato institute claims this is misleading because illegal aliens are arrested for serious federal crimes at a higher rate than citizens. Remember that the next time a talking head on CNN claims illegal aliens commit less crimes than citizens.

It was a disaster for the democrats, imo. Some liberal fact checkers actually deleted their fact checks when the numbers where worse than the President quoted.

The kind where we get 100% of federal workers support him and his stance with this shutdown. That type of bs?

The difference between Trump's crew and Hillary's crew; The enforcers were on Hillary's side. Most of FBI and DOJ management turned out to criminals with badges.

I don't rely on others' opinions. The articles I quote either are backed by facts or can be easily confirmed. Maybe you are the one making the mistakes by relying on others' interpretations of the facts. I don't discount your biased sources simply because they are biased, unless they are making unsupportable statements. Simply discrediting a source because you don't like their bias is a weak argument, and confines your knowledge within very narrow and predefined parameters.

Well, you know that a large chunk of voters on all sides are basically uninformed. That's the nature of democracy, especially in nations where public education is so degraded and a large part of the population has their judgement affected by overprescribed medications and a corporate media designed to make people even more stupid. The stupid vote is possibly the largest voting block in the US (if not most countries), so there is not much point in calling that group out. There will always be people who are easily played by words and promises.

The election was a choice between a committed and fully corrupted insider who was 100% with the program, and someone who was still an insider of sorts, but a loose cannon who might screw things up for the entrenched interests. I'd rather see the loose cannon and hope that someday someone with ethics and competence runs for office, and is able sway the stupid vote his/her way. In the meantime, anything that throws a wrench in the works will have to do.

Of course he did. He’s an opportunist and has a pretty dodgy history of online activities. That whole GoFundMe campaign (now refunded) should have raised a red flag with everyone from the beginning. But people saw “disabled veteran” and opened their wallets without looking further.

Losing limbs in battle doesn't automatically make one a nice person.

But using emotionally charged polls and petitions to harvest emails isn’t new or unique to him.

Build that list!
