very true, I used to go to enjoy and have fun.

Even I crossed the border from San Diego to Tijuana in 1975, just two weeks after arriving in California. Went there with an American friend. They never even asked for my passport. All they did was wave us through at the border crossing, after my friend said we had gone to visit Tijuana for a few hours... which was true!

People have this perception that Border Patrol is continuously and vigorously patrolling the border.

You see border patrol in the inner cities of the towns I have spoken of, you see very very few chevy Tahoe border agent patrol vehicles monitoring the actual access to the border. even if they did, they couldn't even begin to catch up with all the people crossing the border, they catch up with them once they hit the inner cities, which is here and there.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that all form of law enforcement is not, and have not been enforcing the illegal immigration laws of the US, look at the numbers.

Which is why a physical barrier would make it sooooo much harder for them to cross over to the nearest border towns... it would be so much easier to monitor!

Nah, come on why? Why not print all the ballots, menus, road signs, ID registrations, Voting Cards, SS and Welfare Benefit instructions in spanish? Make it easier to get food stamps.

"For a month" - sounds like someone there didnt' know the rules. Not the first one to make that mistake. Doesn't indicate bad intent, but highlights a general lack of knowledge and experience within the campaign.
