The biggest problem I have with Bush leaving Syria, is he would be abandoning the Kurds.

I have mixed feeling about the Kurds. Large part of the Kurdish movement are communist and terrorist. BUT, they are our allies in that war and it sends a bad message... again.

On the other hand, Turkey is no longer a democracy and shouldn't be part of NATO. Warriors like Mattis want to stay and finish the job. Realist like Trump know the job will never be finished unless you totally destroy the enemy.

That means destroying Asad and rebuilding Syria and Lebanon. What does that take? hundreds of thousands dead, depleting our resources further, trillions in debt? There will be another election in 2 years. Will Americans want to stay in Syria too?

Thanks Obama.

While winning a an award from CNN.

Find a conclusion that fits a liberal narrative, then write a story and win prizes. This is the perfect story about liberal Journalism in 2018.

German Fake News Journo Accused of Embezzling Money Meant for Syrian Orphans
Former Der Spiegel star journalist Claas Relotius, who was exposed for inventing facts and interviews in his stories for years, has now been accused of embezzling money allegedly meant for Syrian orphans in Turkey.

Mr Relotius allegedly took donations from readers following the publication of his article โ€œKรถnigskinder,โ€ which was published in July 2016, to a personal bank account. According to Turkish photographer Emin ร–zmen, much of the article contained fabrications and lies, Der Spiegel reports.

ร–zmen said that Relotius had written about a Syrian refugee boy in Turkey named Ahmed who had to bury his mother and had a sister who was forced into brutal work in a textile factory.

Obama put a fiction writer who's greatest accomplishment was writing a speech in charge of killing people with drones and micro-managing wars in the ME.

You thought that was wonderful. Let that sink in.

Anyone shocked? As if anyone didn't know that was a bogus exemption ...
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/26/us/politics/trump-vietnam-draft-exemption.html

So now what we're going to get a chorus of - "his daughters were making it up" "they're lying"

But while your friends, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, were in 'Nam being shot at and dying, He who was born with his ass on a golden toilet was home winning bowling trophies. How brave of him - to suffer the rugged bowling alley environment while dealing with the agony of heel spurs.

Let that sink in.

And not once in two years has he visited our troops overseas.

This is great - fits right in with the rest of "The Emperor's New Clothes"...

Becareful, JB doesn't like this type of criticism of kid's just doing their thing.

Huge Backlash After 11-Year-Old Boy Dressed in Drag Promoted by Media as โ€˜Future of Americaโ€™ (VIDEO)
The mainstream media received a huge backlash for promoting an 11-year-old โ€œdrag kidโ€ as the โ€˜future of America.โ€™
11-year-old Desmond Napoles, who goes by the stage name, โ€œDesmond is Amazing,โ€ is a prepubescent boy who performs drag and participates in various LGBT rallies.

Desmond appeared on โ€œGood Morning America,โ€ last month wearing a wig, dress, high heels and makeup and the audience cheered as he performed for them.

The US taxpayer pays 25% of the useless UN budget. Another rip off. $10 billion a year in addition to be the worldโ€™s police force with bases and military all over the world.

Take out 50% of that $5 billion for the wall. Ha.

โ€œThe US remains the top contributor to UN budgets, paying more than $10bn a year when all expenditures are totaled. It had been paying about 28% of the peacekeeping budget, but Congress has capped those payments at 25%.โ€

โ€œThe Obama administration, emphasising the need for multilateral cooperation, waived the cap, but it has been reimposed by the Trump administration, which says many of the peacekeeping efforts are wasteful and ineffective.โ€

โ€œSecretary of State Mike Pompeo signaled a hardening of the approach in a speech this month, saying the UN was founded as โ€œan organisation that welcomed peace-loving nationsโ€ but that it wasnโ€™t clear if it properly serves that mission anymore.โ€œ

Democrats are for open borders.

Not true. Show me evidence. Quotes. Facts. From democratic leaders. And not the loose cannons like Cortez. You believe it because orange tweetyfingers keeps saying it.

Everyone wants strong borders. The point of contention is that the proposed wall will be a waste of money that wonโ€™t solve the problem.

Shocked to find a liberal gloating about a stock market downturn.

โ€œDownturnโ€???

Try โ€œbloodbath.โ€

Mnunchin met with the top banks the other day to get assurances that they were solvent and could cover their loans.

Nobodyโ€™s โ€œgloating.โ€ My portfolio was already down about 50k from the summer before this disaster of a week. If you think anyone could โ€œgloatโ€ about losing money, youโ€™re a fool. Trying to avoid the urge to look, because thereโ€™s not much I can do about it.

If peopleโ€™s 401ks and investments shrink, spending will drop accordingly.

Everyone wants strong borders.

With โ€œSanctuary Citiesโ€, like California has, how does that apply? If these liberal leaning states cared, they would support border security and not thumb their nose at US Federal Law on Illegal Immigrants, cooperate with ICE and deport who were Illegals arrested immediately.

Nancy supports giving Sanctuary to Illegals. That is against Federal Law. A law maker supporting people breaking the Law, and preventing Law Enforcement from doing their job. She tells this mother who lost her Son this on CNN.

Dealing with immigrants already in the country is a different matter than border control. Itโ€™s complicated - especially for people who have been productive members of a community for years, have kids born here, etc.

Your in denial. Look at what your leaderships is doing. In cities & states with majority democrat leadership, how many are NOT sanctuaries for illegal immigrants?

DNC senators and representatives calling for the elimination of ICE. DNC hasn't officially endorsed open immigration but they certainly support it.

Build the wall.

You're quoting a website the invented "false but true". Snoopes is not a reliable source because they are run by an agenda driven media company.

Open your eyes.

Officially a bear market. Bear markets are by definition a downturn, not a correction.

On the other hand...

"The stock market may be working through one of its most volatile periods in recent history, but Americans are confident in their financial situations, the Wall Street Journal reports. The 2018 holiday season was one of the most profitable for retailers in nearly a decade."

It's not complicated at all. Donald Trump offered to give a million people a path to citizenship in exchange for funding and the democrats rebuked him b/c the 9th circuit wrongly ruled he couldn't reverse an a former presidents ILLEGAL executive order.

If a person is in this country illegally, commits a serious crime, drunk driving, assault, burglary, rape, murder, etc.. they should be deported, not protected.

On the other hand it's clear the US govt does not serve its mission anymore.

The Constitution stares the primary mission/goal of Govt is to protect US Citizens against foreign and domestic threats. The US hasnt had the string of unfortunate open border caused terrorist issues and the security problems the EU has right now, who knows the future though. Protecting the EU isnโ€™t and was never part of the โ€œbusiness planโ€.

The US isnโ€™t supposed to be a nanny state, a socialist enclave like some of the EU Countries. However, thatโ€™s the new direction with younger members of the population looking for free stuff and the โ€œNew Green Dealโ€ b.s. being promoted with 40 House members supporting ACO.

Not really. ICE is barred from apprehending criminal Aliens in CA Court rooms, how does that fit the overall plan?

I mentioned that before with that post above and Tulare County Sheriff. I canโ€™t find the video I already saw of the Sheriff speaking himself.

Democrats don't want open borders. But they do want to eliminate ICE, change the mission of the U.S. Border Patrol and stop deporting any class of illegal alien.

That is the DNC platform.

Gustavo Garcia. Twice deported. ICE prevented from deporting him again.

Funny, I donโ€™t hear any โ€œtrump-ettes โ€ bragging about the wonderful things heโ€™s doing for the economy and how great their 401ks are looking this week...
They are probably busy celebrating Christmas... give them a break!

Democrats are for open borders.

Repeating what Trump tells you to, doesn't really help you guys.

Lots of crying in this thread about Conservatives being banned and such. Somebody started another thread in this forum about the wall fund being banned, they didn't understand how Twitter works. It's either not knowing how the internet works or crying.

Iraq officially makes Christmas Day a national holiday
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...-day-a-national-holiday/ar-BBRpfVu?li=BBnbfcL

That fundraiser is starting to fail. Had 1 day where it was over 2 million, then 1 million next day, then less that $600,000, then about $350,000. Keeps dropping each day, as expected.
