Letting people like Ocasio-Cortez into an already cesspool in Washington is dangerous.

Fucking smartass millennial Fuck. I don't say this because of the Trump Jr article above, I say this because she is nothing short of ignorant, and I speculate as time goes by, she will be irresponsible taking no accountability for any of her actions.

Letting people like Ocasio-Cortez into an already cesspool in Washington is dangerous.

f*cking smartass millennial f*ck. I don't say this because of the Trump Jr article above, I say this because she is nothing short of ignorant, and I speculate as time goes by, she will be irresponsible taking no accountability for any of her actions.

Whats even worse is the collective IQ of those people in her district who voted for her, they are the millennial fucked future. I have no idea how dumb the incumbent was, but he too must have been a real slimey DC swamp rat.

Her pea brain and ignoramous comments remind me of her mentor Maxine Waters stupidity. Twitter today were heavily criticized.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/3916...tens-retaliate-against-trump-jr-ryan-saavedra

Almost immediately, numerous political analysts, commentators, and pundits noted that Ocasio-Cortez's comments likely constituted an ethics violation.

"It's worth noting that the official House Ethics Manual explicitly prohibits the kind of threat that @Ocasio2018 just issued against @DonaldJTrumpJr for his refusal to support her political agenda," The Federalist's Sean Davis wrote on Twitter.โ€

Her few public comments so far speak for themselves.

It reads like a parody account but it's the actual President. Then with his tweet, this dummy brought even more attention to what Tillerson said. Now it's trending.

The Presidents twitter comments โ€œdumb as a rockโ€ today were ridiculous. No argument.

Tillerson comments as an ex CEO blabbing his mouth like a gossip show jus shows this is idiocy. Tillerson is not some permanent Government stooge like Comey, unemployable in the real world only with a career in the Swamp and a book to sell. Tillerson should keep his mouth shut and act his age and experience, its truly amazing the amount of โ€œKiss and Tellโ€ nonsense that seems to get exposed with some of these people. With an ex employee like Omarosa I would expect such comments and interviews as she was always fame seeking, back stabbing historically from her Apprentice days

What I read*** about Tillerson's (age 66) interview seemed pretty mundane compared to what I was expecting. Had I been in his position and been fired, I would likely have been far less polite and phrased things a bit harsher to say the least.

...Tillerson should keep his mouth shut and act his age and experience, its truly amazing the amount of โ€œKiss and Tellโ€ nonsense that seems to get exposed with some of these people.
Look, I know you aren't a Trump zombie and in a 100% agreement with everything he says or does. So shouldn't Trump (age 72) -- President and leader of this great country -- heed this very same advice?

Actually, shouldn't he be held to an even higher standard?

Tillerson spoke this one time in pretty darn polite terms*** about working for Trump. But the T-man finds the need to pop off just about everyday -- in a far nastier manner -- on topics, people or things he doesn't like.

(*** Though once I watch it in full I may see it differently.)

Absolutely. Trump says lots of stupid shit, and it is further ruining his credibility. I am getting tired of it. Name calling like he does should be reserved to joking like โ€œPocahontasโ€. Low IQ person for Maxine, where they deserve it and ask for it. But calling an ex employee a โ€œbox of rocksโ€, it lowers himself to kindergarden behavior. No defensive comments needed. Reserve that political rhetoric and joking for the Swamp creatures like Pelosi, Schumer, Waters, Ocasio, etc.

The end results we will remain to be seen, if the economy, illegal immigration, and other problems get fixed I donโ€™t care what stupid comments he makes.

The US imo, WAS great. What great companies and jobs still exist today?
FAANG? All are those are bullshit companies, I wouldnt invest a dime in any. Offshore Apple, which exploits Chinese poor people and the revenge is China stealing back technology.

3M for example, they produce real stuff. Texas Instruments too. Boeing. Etc.

Not hot air like most tech. Or amazon a fulfillment company stuffing chinese crap in boxes. Uber? AirBnB? Please.

Back when the industrial age began where the US built things, engineered things, went to the Moon, fought in WWI and WWII those veterans, and pre Nixon, say 1975. After that, the country has been in decline. The switch to a service economy, Wall Street short term thinking, the hedge fund and ponzi scammers, insurance companies rip offs, health care hospitals were once operated by churches not for profit corporation assholes, Doctors were paid well and worth what they were paid, the Johnson advanced Vietnam war, the Asshole Bush wars, allowing the dollar to go off the gold standard, on and on....

this great country

The natural wonders like Yosemite are great. The Entrepreneurs who solve real problems and engineer solutions are great. But the US is filled with more than enough Tax consumers than Tax payers. Being a corporate robot working as an employee that followed the College scam and now has huge student loan debt, well, so sorry. Or a Government Employee. You are overhead.

I look at the US culture from a distance, and compare it to other cultures I travel to see. Unfortuately, mass media and American Fast Food chains and TV adversely effects countries outside the US.

The US culture is horrible in some respects. The new Fem boy clothing I see. Since when do Men wear pastel colors or pink pants? #MeToo, what is that? Look at Movies and TV filled with violence. The escapism of drug use and huge obesity problem. Prozac nation. Too many People that have no honor, decency, respect. A hand shake and when some ones word was their bond, where did it go?. Too many Americans are spoiled and have become narcissistic attention whores addicted to posting selfies on Facebook. Or collecting friends or followers on social media. Or vanity, all the fake breasts, botox lips and other nonsense?

Now tech companies exploit peopleโ€™s ignorace of privacy and have no moral compass. Then this Ocasio โ€œFree stuffโ€ entitled generation. The insipid celebrity worship of Kardashians.

American People used to believe in being a waiter was a profession, pre 1970โ€™s. In other parts of the world it still is!. People valued trade jobs then as well. Even house painters and plumbers. How many millineals would do that manual labor work now? Where I spend my time, I can walk down and get my shoes repaired, buy fresh organic fruit from a farmer. It feels like 50โ€™s-60โ€™s sometimes.

Think about this โ€œGreatโ€ when applied to products. Before the disposable, waste producing economy arrived. Examples like consumer products: What year American cars are most sought after for collectors? 65-66 Mustangs, 69โ€™ Chevy Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Impala and other model Muscle cars. Guitars? Gibson and Fender Pre 1968. Maytag Washers were quality that actually lasted 20 years. RCA console TV sets. McIntosh Tube stereos. Music: Classic Rock bands music from 60-70โ€™s lives on and studied still today. What product from 1980โ€™s does anybody really care about? I cant think of any American car model, nor guitar. Sure 80โ€™s music seems to have lived on for some... does anyone care about an Atari 800, PCJr, etc? Old video games? Sure a few nostalgia people might buy a Pong console. What about iPhone 3? Not a classic, Instead of being classic, Apple wants you dispose of it. Or even a 4, 5 or 6. Its a disgusting scam, a planned obsolescence based, throwaway economy. The irony is the same silicon valley assholes that complain about climate change are polluting it with obsolete electronic waste.

Coke used to be in glass recycled bottles and tasted good because it had real sugar, not corn syrup. Glass, It exists still btw, outside the US. Now in the US everything is plastic, polluting the planet.

The younger generation needs to be motivated to be creative and self sufficient. Not become an employee, but be responsible for your own destiny. Have Motivation to create, design, engineer, work long hours. Add value. Be versatile and do many jobs and hobbies, travel and appreciate other cultures.

^^^^ Whoa... Calm down there big fella. Take a deep breath. LOL

You are preaching to a member of the choir here on most of those topics.

I do take exception to the part about men wearing pink and pastels though. I wear them both and I look DAMN good in them!

I used to even have a pair of pink golf pants. Stood out like a sore thumb on the greens! But I also looked DAMN good on them even if my short game sucked!

Good breakdown of the Cohen sentencing memo...
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1071201140010815489.html

Basically, the payment where POTUS is implicated is a low level crime that he could wiggle out of if he / his lawyers can avoid saying anything stupid.

The second set of payments is a major crime involving money laundering. His CFO was granted immunity. We donโ€™t know any details of what his involvement was or what he knew, but If he was an active part of that, heโ€™s in deep doodoo.

Today I am colluding with the Russians by watching their Live TV coverage of the Yellow Vest protests

Well, you have to collude with the Russians if you want to see it because most of the networks here are ignoring it, or doing a two second blurb on it. Perhaps if they burn the cities to the ground the American press will find it "newsworthy".

What did the 80's ever do to you?

I have ranted enough. If you have answers, why not rebut what I wrote with actual example of great things from the 80โ€™s. I just cannot seem to come up with anything, except the wall in Berlin fell. You donโ€™t like Reagan though, and non-trickle down economic theory, my opinion remains void on that. I liked Reagan though.

Oh, forgot the IBM P/C. Tired of typing with one finger on a tablet. So what fond memories of non disposable stuff you collected or wished you owned like a car or consumer product do you recall that is classic from then? Educate me on what I missed orher than buying Berkshire Hathaway shares.

Light and Heavy mfg. Industry was declining in America, American cars were shit quality (Name one which is a true collectors item), the economy sucked mostly w layoffs, interest rates were way too high 7-20%, inflation accellerated, the industry I was in imploded, decline started of family restaurants in CA replaced by shitty chain restaurants and stores absorbed more market share, coca cola changed to corn syrup (in 84โ€™), mergers and acquisitions really increased, increase in gratuitous violence and graphic horror movies,

Reagan gave amnesty to attempt to keep more illegals from arriving and from being exploited, but the problem just increased since congress didnt act to put a backbone in the law. Reagan had the balls to fire striking Air Traffic controllers.

https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=128303672

โ€œThe law granted amnesty to nearly 3 million illegal immigrants, yet was largely considered unsuccessful because the strict sanctions on employers were stripped out of the bill for passage.โ€

So are you saying that the foreign news networks find all the protests we have here in the US to be of great important and relevance to their viewers and provide full coverage in real time?

Say like last year in Charlottesville?!?!?

Huh, wow! Color me surprised...
