Did you know that the ukulele originated in the 19th century as a Hawaiian adaptation of the Portuguese machete, a small guitar-like instrument, which was introduced to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants, mainly from Madeira Island and the Azores Islands?

This kind of stuff is why I will never live in the US again. The police were clearly thugs, she was clearly right to be angry. And violence was completely uncalled for. Two 100 kg cops can't handle a little girl in a bikini?

She was peacefully sitting on a beach when these thugs approached her. For the abhorrent crime of having a can of beer in plain sight nearby???

That so many Americans think this is in any way OK tells me the country is going to get a lot worse before people start to wake up. At least this girl is not a sheep.
