Then why not on gender or sexual orientation ?
Unalienable rights granted by our creator, enumerated in the Bill of Rights and our Constitution don't conflict or impose on others.
Special rights, granted based on changing social opinions do impose on others. In example, freedom of speech, freedom of association, etc.
A few years ago, when homosexuals demanded the privilege of same-sex marriage, they argued it was in the best interest of children to have two parents. Homosexuals were born homosexuals, it wasn't just a preference.
Immediately after wining the privilege of same-sex marriage, they started demanding that churches change the Bible, so they would be accepted without condemnation.
Today, the same people are arguing that sexual identity, gender and preference are fluid and demand
special selfish privileges that impose on others.
I don't care what you do personally unless it imposes on my rights without my permission.
