It's true, nobody said it was going to be easy. In fact, I am not expecting 45 to do any better than his predecessors. NK a regime that you contain, not one you can really discuss with. I do not have unfair expectations, that's not the point.
However, the degree of naïveté at the White House is worrying. Zero understanding of world affairs. Another fiasco for US diplomacy, I mean what's left of it.

President Trump did the right thing by offering NK a peaceful way out but walking away when threatened. Containment may be the most the U.S. can achieve but I hope there is more.

You're not an expert in international politics and not qualified to judge. Pres. Trump isn't the only person working on this. President of SK has played a big part also.

You don’t like MSNBC - we get it. But what she said was spot on.
This super biased journalist is already saying there was NO evidence of spying going on against the Trump campaign.

It's just started to be investigated and she is already SURE that no spying happened? Who is this idiot trying to convince?

Has her own MSNBC done any investigation into this case? Of course NOT. Why would MSNBC investigate the President they love so much... Obummer. That would be a cardinal sin for them.

A lot of people have opened their eyes and smelled the coffee. We know who the enemy is... It's called the Liberal Media and no matter how many millions in resources and the fact they dominate the MSM (90% +) they will never be able to brainwash us... ever!

1) There was no spy in Trump campaign.

2) The spying that did NOT happen was totally justified.

3) It would be bad for national security to identify the spy who doesn't exist.

4) His name is Stefan.

The geniuses who thought it was a good idea to use Kaspersky software on gov hardware ... everywhere.
"Multiple divisions of the U.S. government are confronting the reality that code written by the Moscow-based security company is embedded deep within American infrastructure, in routers...and other hardware—and nobody is certain how to get rid of it."
I've read for many, many years on reviews and elsewhere that Kaspersky anti-virus was the best software, or at least always in the top 3.

Had no idea it was a Russian company. In fact I was always under the impression that it was American.

But then again, American companies like Google, Facebook and others are using people's personal data without their consentment, so, to quote Hillary's famous words...

Done ranting?

She explained it very clearly. There was an informant. If there wasn’t evidence of Russian infiltration into the campaign, there would have been no need for an informant.

The claims that this is a “spy”, coming from those who are actively under investigation, is like a bank robber claiming the bank security “spied” on them.

Note that all the claims of spies, deep state, fbi plots and other such nonsense are coming from those who are under investigation for serious and possibly treasonous wrongdoing. The attacks on federal law enforcement and the justice department are a lame attempt at distraction.

This is the most epically corrupt administration this country has ever seen. We already have multiple indictments and guilty pleas in a 1year old investigation into Russian interference and more, like the 400k pay to play from Ukraine, coming to light every day.

I heard something on the news, what you're seeing in this thread:

Trump’s Lies vs. Your Brain
Unfortunately, it’s no contest. Here’s what psychology tells us about life under a leader totally indifferent to the truth.

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/01/donald-trump-lies-liar-effect-brain-214658

I think Trump has damaged some brains, wore them out with his lying.

Describing typical Trump supporter:
"When we are overwhelmed with false, or potentially false, statements, our brains pretty quickly become so overworked that we stop trying to sift through everything."

Add that with what I posted earlier:

"Wow. Lesley Stahl, speaking at the Deadline Club Awards, says she once asked Trump why he continues to relentlessly attack the press.

His answer: “I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so that when you write negative stories about me, no one will believe you."

Trump campaign wasn't under criminal investigation. If they were, why didn't the FBI, CIA and DOJ do something about RU interfering / colluding ?

Wow... she only waited almost two years and a 60 minutes interview to break this news.

The press doesn't need Trump's help. They spent the last 9 years flushing any objectivity / reputation they had.

Trump calling lying journalist liars could be easily dismissed as political bs if the press weren't actually prolific liars.

Like I said, damaged. Trump is literally the biggest liar we've had, this is where you get your news/views from. You're falling for the most basic con-man type stuff.

He even tells you what he is doing:
“I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so that when you write negative stories about me, no one will believe you."

And you still fall for it. The sheer amount of gullibility among Trump supporters is next level.

Exactly the same playbook he’s using on federal law enforcement and the judiciary.

Whenever I see this stuff, I think about how many indictments Stalin or Hitler saw. By these standards, they were the most ethical leaders in history. The most corrupt administrations see few indictments precisely because they have corrupted the process.

I cannot cheer on any group that seeks to subvert the will of the people by use of force. And that's what this is. Virtually anyone can be taken down this way in a disfunctional state like the US.

Typical response, attack, defame, slander but no denial the press isn't truthful. You only have to look back a few days to A.P. slander that President Trump called all immigrants animals, quickly repeated, even after the A.P. deleted their accusation and wrote a correction.

You're out'a gas.
