The two-person, two-year-old company hails from Whitefish, Mont. — hometown of Interior Sec. Ryan Zinke — and won an unusual arrangement.

More corruption. The island is broke. So taxpayers to the rescue, Read that the other day. $300 million contract. worse I read were being paid $250 an hour.
Instead of US labor flown in with per diem, there are plenty of hard working Haitians that would raft there to make $15 an hour and do a decent job. I know that sounds weird, but they do some nice work in the DR.

I thought FEMA was more organized and had on-standby approved contractors, that and somthing like this might have RFP’s sent out for competitve bid. But at the snails place Govt works, that bid process would have been 2 years.

They should dig holes and bury the lines. I bet they just repair existing above ground poles (dumb) as-is, but always an angle, that’s job security so when it breaks the next annual storm or hurricane season.

The article states each worker has a supervisor. What a fucking waste, some guy making $250 an hour needs supervision????? $80 a day food allowance. $300 for hotel?

It is totally biased and mostly one sided. It's supposed to give us the news, the facts, but it's not. It's inventing news and brainwashing people with false BS.

And Breitbart and InfoWars aren't ???
How about RT and Sputnik?

Of course the charges happened "while Obama was president" - this was ultimately about collusion during the campaign.

Fun fact: Federal prosecutors have a 93% success rate.

DNC is hiring IT and network security staff. Unless your cis white male.

Expect another breach and leak in 2019.

So you think other demographics are inherently incompetent in IT and network security?
Come on! Seriously? Neither of those fields require a white penis to perform successfully.

The notable DNC breach happened because a white male was duped by a phish.

"Would you have sex with any of these women?"- well - I don't think I would- or you would, nor would most men with a proper libido.

I believe most if not all of the women pictured are lesbian. So they wouldn't have sex with you or Gilsan either. No offense.

I think hiring people based on their politics, sex or race instead of their ability is bigoted and will lead to sub-standard, toxic work environment.

DNC breach was an inside job, talk to Debby's IT man from Pakistan. Another affirmative action hire.

There are two type of Affirmative Action promotions.

1) An employee has been overlooked despite their experience and job performance. They get promoted and do great.

2) Inexperienced, unqualified people are hired or promoted based on racial quotas. Any criticism of their performance is considered racist, so when they fail, it's bigly.

I'm not a fan of affirmative action - personally I think it's insulting. Same for organizations, seminars, groups dedicated to helping a particular group realize their potential - I never have and never would participate in any kind of "helping women be competitive" thing. Though I recognize that for various reasons they're helpful to some people.

The catch is - minus quotas what's to prevent people / companies / organizations who are so inclined from biasing their workplace decisions? If someone isn't going to respect me after hiring me, we're obviously not going to get along - good riddance and their loss. But not everyone has the same options or choices.

I don't have the answer. Bigotry sucks. Whether it's aimed at race, age, gender or religion.

The only one I read regularly is Breitbart and occasionally RT. If you add those 4 together they don't represent more than 2% of Media in the US. The vast majority as you well know is the Biased Liberal Media that dominate completely with about 95% of all news. They give us the news that the Liberal Media shows + the news they won't show.

Even the people of Namakwaland and Biafra know this.

BTW, I also read Liberal Media and watch CNN all the time. Not Fox. So I know very well all the false biased BS being spewed out by them.

Fun fact: Federal prosecutors have a 93% success rate.
When you have 16 Democrat prosecutors going aggressively, with the help of the Liberal Media, after Republicans, I'm surprised it's not a 100% rate. But give it some time and Karma will catch up to all these MF's

Affirmative action was a tolerable idea for a time. It broke racial barriers and a there were a lot of qualified people being ignored.

Mostly, those days are done. Smart, competitive companies look for good people.

Really. I was in Lisboa twice last year. I liked it, hiked up to Sintra, great trains like all of europe, you have a nice country, great food outside tourist traps like most places... except one thing that I have to sort of laugh about. I live near ghettos and been in some bad situations mostly when I lived in the states. I have travelled all my years I have never been pick pocketed until I got there, lol. Slick guy. Riding the street car up the hill. Bought that expensive iPhone 7 in Madrid for resale only, but shot great photos safe in the cloud.

Oh yeah, pickpockets, Lisbon used to have a few of those before, but after Romania joined the EU and their citizens could travel freely, things got really bad thanks to the invasion of the Roma Gypsies, that came mostly from Romania.

These Gypsies, make a profession out of stealing and their children start learning from the age of 7 to be trained to pickpocket and beg in the streets of the big cities and main tourist resorts of Europe. These kids start operating in groups of boys and girls from the age of 8 up to 14-15, because the EU laws does not allow them to be put in prison for being minors.

Once these children grow older they'll still continue their stealing profession and once their own children reach the age of 7 they will get trained to carry on the family tradition.

Check out this short version of the BBC Documentary "Gypsy Child Thieves of Europe"

The five European cities where you are most likely to be pickpocketed - and how to avoid becoming a victim
  • Pickpockets use a variety of devious methods to steal from tourists
  • Most European pickpockets work in groups and use distraction methods
  • More than 300 thefts are reported every day in tourist hotspot Barcelona

I wanted to go to Porto and the south coast. Will do it next trip.
Porto is a great place to visit and very friendly people. The south (Algarve) is overflowing with tourists in Summer, similar to Spain.

As far as those prosecutors, only 7 have donated to Democrat candidates. Most are his former colleagues from WilmerHale. He's going to pick people he knows and trusts, people who are qualified. Once you go thru the list, it's pretty impressive. Most people are going to lean one way or another. I understand you guys want to focus on that, instead of all the actual information coming out, facts. More of your distraction game.

Good news:

"Yesterday, on my orders, United States forces captured Mustafa al-Imam in Libya. Because of this successful operation, al-Imam will face justice in the United States for his alleged role in the September 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, which resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods—four brave Americans who were serving our country."

You guys tried to pin this on Hillary, even tho she was cleared by multiple Republican led committees.

And as expected, they're trying to do a number on Papa Dop. One campaign manager called him a coffee boy, Trump this morning:

"....came to the campaign. Few people knew the young, low level volunteer named George, who has already proven to be a liar. Check the DEMS!"

Calling him a liar now, called him excellent before and he was on his National Security Team. He's just hurting himself even more with this. Or is this more of his poor hiring practices, putting low level, lying, coffee boy, volunteers on his National Security Team.

Porto is a great place to visit and very friendly people. The south (Algarve) is overflowing with tourists in Summer, similar to Spain.

On that UK news article, I have been all over Madrid for many weeks with no issues, Barcelona 2 weeks (I saw a guy get his cellphone stolen in Las Ramblas) but lucky no issues. Prague for 4 days and actually had numerous sightings of scsmmers and gypsies, even store owners who attempted to stiff me on the change due by switching crones for euros in 3 locations- one took all the change from my hand in a bakery, will never go back there. It wasn’t interesting as expected.

Algarve, yes I Want to return there, I have seen photos only, we went on a bus from Sevilla up through Faro but it went north from there so never saw the cliffs.

You sound like an angry woman. No offense either. They would have to pay me. They are all unattractive women, and cannot find anybody male to sleep with, so they switched. Most other women in this world would agree in private that compared to average, they are all below average in looks and homely and normally have to retire after a point. For some reason they all remain on a TV soapbox “trashvision” the view, blabbing their pathetic yack yack rhetoric over and over. They all seem to lack class, so their attitude speaks for themselves.

On the other hand, Look at someone like Oprah not really attractive but a highly successful business owner and while she has struggled with weight and age, remains gifted, intelligent and with class in most cases unlike that tribe of ugly blabbermouths.

Since you are a well traveled person, you're obviously more aware and more careful than the average tourist, yet you did get caught in Lisbon. Could have happened in any big tourist spot.

My sister in law went to Rio de Janeiro last year and was warned by the travel agent NOT to walk around with necklaces, earrings, watches, expensive clothes, photo cameras, even cell phones, that will attract the bandidos, who work very swiftly and sometimes violently to rob you.

A friend of ours lost her video camera she had on her shoulder, while on vacation in Barcelona about 2-3 years ago, when she was inside a fairly crowded souvenir shop. She felt the camera being snatched from behind her, turned around right away and noticed some guy running away, but it was too late.

Me, I've never had that problem, probably because I did most of my travelling when I was younger and at a time when things were very different to what they are now. I did a lot of travelling. Visited about 30 countries in 3 continents

This man has no subtlety. He is obsessed with distraction and his panic is a strong sign of complicity.
