Appreciate it enlytend, I was never in any danger and my family wasn't in Vegas. I don't know if this will mean much to anyone but I am keeping it in mind as I try to figure out what really went down. The first shots that I heard I immediately thought were shots, it was a gut reaction to having heard shots in the past, but I was confused a bit right after that as it turned out to be a long burst. I then started to think, maybe it's swat and something is seriously going down because I was not thinking anyone else would have auto weapons. As the long bursts seem to continue with what seemed like short silence in between bursts I then basically started to convince myself that it could easily be road work/a jackhammer because they will work on busy streets at night. Anyway once police and ambulances began to race by I went online to read the news which at that point was still sketchy. The police were asking everyone to stay out so I didn't venture. Anyway, not sure why my limited exposure to the shooting is pushing me but even just hearing the shots as they happened (it was different then on video which I have watched a few times) my gut tells me there is more to the story, mainly motive.
Vegas police announced very early that she was out of the Country and not considered involved, so that changing would be interesting, especially when you consider that the shooter arrived Thursday so she could have easily flown out before Sunday night. You would think they would have checked on her flying out so confusing but let's hope she has some intel. Possible that they just didn't want her running some more so they cleared her "via the news" but not in reality.
Interesting that Stephen Paddock wired $100,000 to the Philippines before the massacre. Apparently his girlfriend left for the Philippines about 2 weeks ago and then went to Hong Kong for 4 days. According to the Las Vegas Police, she is now in Tokyo and yet her identification was discovered on her dead boyfriends body, which he had used to check into the hotel. Might be more than a person of interest.
