RU interfering in our election, confirmed by 17 intelligence agencies, including the coast guard is bullsh*t.
And you come to that that conclusion because ...you're an expert CI, PSYops, etc? And you don't believe the guy who outright said thats what they did...because why?
Hillary wasn't a likeable candidate and the deplorable comment was a bad mistake but she was a hella lot more qualified than what we got.
One other factor why she lost was adopting that "when they go low we go high" - great line for a convention, bad practice for a campaign as dirty as this one was. You don't win a mud wrestling match with a badminton racquet.
Instead someone who called some of her opponents followers deplorables, we got a guy who calls them "losers." We got a clown who mocks the disabled, brags about groping women, calls anyone who contradicts him a liar, is a compulsive liar himself, has no government experience or law background, never applied for or held a real job in his life, avoided military service on a dodgy excuse, ran a scam university, was notorious for shirking his debts to small businesses he hired to do work for him (obviously not a Lannister), was probably involved with various mob connections and money laundering (tbd), won't speak out against white supremacist organizations OR Putin, and likely knew damned well RU was helping his campaign in return for paving the way for the Rosneft deal (sanctions.)
But OMG - emails.
Ps, yes, the US has interfered in politics in other countries. Why is that? Not for sh*ts and giggles, but to exert control and to further US interests.
Russia interfering in our government would be done to further their interests, not ours.
It's a fact that there are troll "farms" (notably in St Petersburg) that flood social media with various types of propaganda and disinformation to antagonize both the right and the left in this country. You think they're doing that for fun?
If you don't believe that is true, investigate it yourself. Check out the accounts that are replying and amplifying incendiary posts. Are the profile names auto generated? (Example: first name followed by 8 digits) When do they post? Where? Are their following / follower counts suspicious? Do their followers look genuine? How long have they been posting? If they are even using a profile picture, is it a stock photo? Is their English grammar suspiciously Russian-like? If the profile mentions other interests, do they ever post about any of them? How often do they post? Do they have flurries of activity around various international events, like elections? (A lot of pro trump bots rebranded after November and took up non us political causes)
