Republicans: Ummm Why don't we let them attend any school they want? Good schools will expand, bad schools will close.

Democrats: ( huddle with teachers union executives ) No.. that's racist and will cause global warming.

We must give the bad schools more money... for the children's sake.

Republicans: We already give them lots of money. Why don't we give it to the parents and let them decide which school is best for their children?

Democrats: You just want to ruin public schools and pocket millions from running private schools.. probably CATHOLICS.

Parents: But we'd like to choose where our kids go to school.

Mattis, Tillerson, Haiey, Sessions, ..

I'll agree on Mattis.

Conditionally on Tillerson - he's not a fool, but he does have a potential conflict of interest, since Exxon Mobil's huge deal with Rosneft was stymied by sanctions. And there's that award ... Can he be impartial?
He's also in the unenviable position of being second guessed and contradicted by Trump/Kushner (example: recently on Qatar), which diminishes his effectiveness. Oh - and he he's running a state department with half the positions unfilled - that can't be good for anyone's morale, and morale affects performance.

Haley - haven't followed enough on her to form an opinion. Do recall reading a weird statement from her in the past week, but I'm not going to try to track down what that was...

Sessions - Wrong.Troubling history of racism and bias, lied during his hearings. Ideally, AG should be fair-minded and above reproach in their own conduct. He most definitely is not.

Why do people just accept opposition talking points?

Nevermind democrats who worked with Sessions for years in Congress had nothing bad to say about him or an example of said racism.

Just one smear from 15 years ago, a joke about marijuana and opposition from a bunch of old democrats trying to hold on to power.

Democrats have fetishistized victimhood. Eric Holder is a stone cold partisan. Obama attended a church who's racist pastor was like a father to him, regularly worked with Marxist, Communist and a domestic terrorist.

Re Sessions: You missed my other point: Lied during his hearings.
He was turned down in 1986 for becoming a federal judge. In addition to the higher profile dog-whistle points you mentioned , he had become known in Alabama for intimidating black voters, politically motivated prosecutions, and ignoring criminal violations of civil rights laws. Leopards don't usually change their spots...

99% of this administration are white, male and over 50. I'm not calling them all racist.

Let's say John Doe meets a 14 yr old online, they agree to meet for an "adult encounter" at a motel. When he gets there, he's met by the police. Will he be arrested and put on a sex offenders list or will the "But nothing happened" excuse cut it? I think not.

Same here. If it can be proven, he's going down. There's also the interesting timing of some other events around that meeting. "Lordy, I hope there are tapes."

Read again. I never criticized her looks. I said the way she was dressed wasn't appropriate for the event. Participants in meetings to discuss high level corporate or global business wear "Business attire." Men don't show up in khakis and tee shirts, women don't show up in foofy pink dresses with bows on the sleeves. I wouldn't wear that there. - to a party, maybe, not to G20. Not. Appropriate. End of story.

(According to a former classmate, her father once slapped Junior for dressing casually when he picked him up to go to a baseball game... made him put on a suit...)
