Finally, a pick I like. Trump got Walter White to head the DEA

Damn - I was rooting for El Chapo. But Walter White doesn't have those Mexican immigration issues hanging over him, so it's all good.

Love tRumps claim that he had "one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history." No. He did not. Out of 58 elections, his electoral college margin puts him at #46. His popular vote margin makes him #56. Out of 58.

More gaslighting. He's gaslighted the whole effin country over bigger things, it's like he can't help himself.

Speaking of which, if a credible source, like the folks whose business it is to understand foreign governments in action and who have dedicated their careers (and sometimes lives) to protecting the country and its interests abroad, asserts that a foreign power has manipulated our election process to put their candidate in office, that is not "business as usual." If US citizens were knowingly involved in those type of shenanigans they may have committed treason.

PE dismissing the CIAs statement like it was from some fake news blogger in his / her parents basement is not OK and is very suspicious, given that he has zero foreign policy experience and seems strangely allergic to intelligence briefings. And he selected a Secretary of State whose business has a lot to gain from removing sanctions on Russia... Interesting.

I'm not a proponent of "demonizing" Russia, I have nothing against the Russian people, but that doesn't mean I'm in favor of letting their leaders get away with sh*t like grabbing control of other countries either - especially mine. That's "ะฝะต ั…ะพั€ะพัˆะพ" (not good.)

(Yes, the US has in the past interfered to shape other countries' governments and policies. Doesn't mean we should sit there and take it if it's done to us. And all the more reason we should recognize it when we see it.)

A bipartisan investigation is needed ASAP - if its all smoke and no fire, that's that. But letting things proceed like there's nothing wrong would be at best naive and at worst a fatal mistake for the country.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the CIA is wrong. Maybe 17 intelligence organizations are wrong. But the stakes are high - winner take all. Wanna blindly take that chance?

Blast away with the memes, accusations, ad hominem attacks, indignant denials, etc.

Above is my post. Notice how GILSAN edited it in an attempt to fit his warped agenda. Congrats on proving my point and let me commend you for trying to skirt the real issue entirely, very fake conservative/republican of you.
very fake conservative/republican... LOL, what have you been smoking? No such thing exists... It's called "Fake Liberals" and "Fake Liberal Media"

One point... from what I've read, the "consensuses opinion" the Russians were helping Trump is based on an assumption the RNC was hacked but emails were not released.

The FBI investigated and found the RNC was attacked, but not hacked. Only a few individuals at the RNC had email accounts compromised by phishing hacks.

It sounds like your talking about Hillary.

This is politics. If you pretend the CIA is not a political agency, then you've forgotten all the political leaks, attack and even a book published by a CIA agent, all aimed at Bush W.

I take what I read and hear on liberal media with a grain of salt. They've collaborated with Democrats too many times.

If Russian Gov was hacking our Government's computers, it happened on Barack Obama's watch and he's done nothing about it. He waited until Dec to call for an investigation.

The best disinfectant is sunshine. Empower a special investigator with subpoena powers and turn them loose on the rotten bureaucrats in our Gov..

No more destroying evidence, slow walking FOIA, giving a big middle finger to Americans who have to actually obey the law from "the most transparent administration ever".

I think in 2 years 25 democratic senate seats are up for election as opposed to 8 republicans, this could be a real blood bath for the dems.

If the media was serious about opposing corruption in Government, they would report facts.

They would not fire investigative reporters for investigating.

They would not tolerate conflicts of interest, husbands, wives, brothers of media executives working for the Executive branch.

They would not hire former politicians as journalist or give them a Political talk show. Men like Dan Rather and Brian Williams would not be allowed back.

The radicals and reactionaries that pass as contributors would be replaced with actual intellectuals. The opinion pieces that pass for news would be relegated to the editorial pages and blogs.

The media is trying to discredit the 2016 election and a man they abhor, not tell the truth.

Well -
Rep Michael McCaul says Russians have have hacked into the Republican National Committee

He is the (Republican) Homeland Security Chairman

then he had to fall back later when someone told him he wasn't supposed to say that in public

It is what it is. We'll have some puppet next 4 years, hopefully we have enough checks and balances to keep the damage to a minimum. Our views on Russia/Putin are actually one most Democrats and Republicans are in agreement with.

And then why is it hard to believe they would want Trump? Hillary messed with Putin during his election. Hillary would probably up the sanctions on Putin/Russia. Trump said some anti-NATO stuff, Putin loved that. Trump has no experience, who wouldn't love somebody inexperienced? Who had pro Russia/Putin people in his campaign? All up in his Cabinet now? This is something even Republicans believe/want investigated, different security agencies etc. Everything is pointing to it.

The FBI isn't exactly beyond reproach themselves, considering that "Look! We have more emails" ... "Oh - Never mind" stunt they pulled a few days before the election.

I wonder how intensely they examined the RNC servers, given the lack of released information? Phishing individual email accounts is a pretty clumsy way to get information - you can't escalate privilege from an ordinary user email account. By the same token, they should be able to find those by interviewing targts or examining server logs.

OTOH if you could work into the network and find a server vulnerabiity or social-engineer someone with server admin access you could get the whole ball of wax and probably do a pretty convincing job of hiding your tracks. Investigators might have to take the whole system down and forensically examine drives to find anything, and if anyone has accessed the pertinent data between the hack and the investigation, that's pointless because evidence has been tainted.

Other government servers have been hacked. It doesn't matter whose watch it happened on - it happened. State Department email in particular was targeted heavily in 2015, suspects again were Russian hackers. At the time law enforcement and intelligence officials considered it the worst cyberattack against a government agency. Also hacked around that time were the White House's email system, and other federal agencies.State actually had to take their servers down for several days to attempt to harden the servers and presumably clean up any back doors the hackers left.

Trump Says He Doesnโ€™t Need Daily Intelligence Briefing Because Heโ€™s โ€˜Smartโ€™

โ€œI donโ€™t have to be told โ€• you know, Iโ€™m, like, a smart person. I donโ€™t have to be told the same thing in the same words every single day,โ€ Trump said in an interview airing on โ€œFox News Sunday.โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t need to be told ... the same thing every day, every morning โ€• same words. โ€˜Sir, nothing has changed. Letโ€™s go over it again.โ€™ I donโ€™t need that.โ€

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-intelligence-briefing_us_584d65a5e4b04c8e2bb04195

So it looks like he is just going to be a figurehead, doesn't seem like he's real interested in what's going on.

Since all of the hacked computers are in he hands of the FBI,
why isn't it the FBI that is saying that they were hacked by the Russians?
The reason is...the FBI has refused to blame the Russians.
Despite threats from Senators like Schumer and Reid...who have said that Covey
should be fired...Covey has refused to lie for Obama.
Obviously CIA officials want to keep their jobs
and have decided tell the lies that Obama demands. Obama corrupts everything
and everybody around him. This administration rots from the head down.

Bill Clinton was notoriously uninterested in intel briefings and international affairs too.
Something tells me that the Potus will have to wake up fast or simply be overwhelmed and played on like a tool. Foreign affairs is not something that can be ignored, not when you're sitting in the Oval office.
Stay tuned for more.

++ We should believe the same "state hackers" that left traces of hacking the DNC, didn't leave traces on RNC network.

++ We shouldn't believe the FBI, who actually investigated hacking attempts on the RNC and DNC networks.

We should believe an anonymous group of CIA employees came to a consensus the RNC was hacked, even thought the CIA is prevented by law from operating in the USA.
