I agree. There are two distinct charges: sending classified material and taking it back.

Could the first charge have ground based on the FBI findings? And if it does, the slight chance that she'll be our new CiC, would this not set new precedence on how these cases are handled? Could Chelsea Manning possibly be released?

Does it all come down to intent? In that case, the Marine Major, nor Army Private, had no bad intentions... the same as Hillary, no?

I think intent plays a part. Don't know, it's for the courts to decide. I think they have more info/details available than what's on the internet.

As far as the amount of email/seconds etc. They have programs that can scan for dupes, keywords etc, plus it's not like the FBI office is only 1 person, Comey.

Complain about MSM where people can lose their jobs for being wrong (see Dan Rather) but use right wing sites, with authors using fake names. Get stuff wrong, nobody cares.

A dishonorable / bad conduct / other than honorable discharge is by far a worse sentence than imprisonment. While in prison, you get 3 meals a day; some discharged like that find it hard to pay rent, let alone eat 3 square meals daily as it's seen greater than a felony thus having a profound negative effect on employment.

Edit: you also lose entitlements to include retirement and VA benefits (such as disability compensation / pension & education).

Basically, you're a free man, but you might as well want to be dead or in prison.

I doubt it. That charge will definitely stick. The charge of handling classified material or not, essentially how Hillary did, could be the difference between a dishonorable and other than honorable with the two charges. (I edited my above post, but, I think OTH can receive some benefits, and much easier to overturn).
