True, the word 'correctness' stakes a better than attitude towards 'incorrectness'. And I understand why that bothers people who enjoy publicly voicing their prejudicial views. But as repubs like you seek to govern with anti-political correctness... where do you go after The Offense?

Political Correctness is simply a common sense effort to civilize public discourse as colonial countries naturally evolve into multicultural societies. But centuries of slave ranching appears to have addicted many to the elixir of implied supremacy: ethnic name calling.

Political Incorrectness simply reveals ones prejudices.

'Political Correctness' is tool liberals use to feel morally superior while attacking others they disagree with. There is no right to be protected from offense.

Progressives used to love freedom and free speech. Now they are becoming more like communist / totalitarians who want to re-educated people who "think wrong".

Black Lives Matter is a Marxist movement that grew out of Occupy Wallstreet. Run by spoiled rich children who have never been discriminated against.

Please, stay in the UK.

Our states are ( supposed ) to be independent Republican governments. The Federal Gov has much more power now then what was planned for at the founding.

https://www.1215.org/lawnotes/lawnotes/repvsdem.htm

By stating this I assume that you think that the states should have more independence from the federal government? Please correct if I got it wrong.

If this the case (states should have more independence), could you describe what kind of independence they should have in your opinion?

Is it about sovereignty on certain fields, for example education, economy or total independence/sovereignty with no obligations to the federal government and own foreign policy? So let's say Texas for example would be a independent state with its own parliament and president (or ruler) and might have own embassies in foreign countries?

You mean you didn't get the answers you wanted.
No, I meant exactly what I said. I asked specific questions about how YOU feel about certain things TRUMP has said, done, or presumably stands for.
All I got back was canned rhetoric, evasion and ad hominem attacks. Same kind of answers people n this thread gave JB.
Answering a question by changing the subject isn't an answer. Thing is, you've been conned. Played. By a master con-man. There are no global conspiracies, just the paranoid rantings of a mysogynistic, bigoted, entitled and rather pathetic old man.
No point is in my attempting to continue this "conversation", it's like talking to recorded snippets of trump speeches, not people with thoughts of their own. Have fun!

I told you exactly how I felt. They are both bad people. *He's less bad then Hillary.

You like to talk. I don't have time so I'll be blunt. I like freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc..

You don't have a right to be offended. PC Culture isn't about being polite or inclusive, it's about controlling ideas and eliminating views you don't agree with.

So representatives of two parties are responsible for the federal legislation (=making laws for the whole country) which is in my view a lack of diversity. Although this can also happen in the parliaments of other democracies.

It get's worse. Congress has delegated some of their authority to bureaucrats. Rules with the power of law can be made based on a committee's interpretation of that law.

The USA is a Republic, not a democracy. We're not a plural society. When you become an American citizen, we expect you to accept our laws and customs. Accept our freedoms and responsibilities.

Democracy is just mob rule. A-holes like the Nazi party get in power in bam! you're screwed.
Okay, you know nothing about democracies, I see.

Republics are democracies. Parliamentary Democracies and Republics are both democracies. Saying a republic is not a democracy is very wrong.

Maybe you should visit Politics class again. I go to college and right now we literally have the topic of the difference between Americas voting system and Germanys in our politics class. And what you are saying here is complete bollocks.

Also, Germany has systems in place to make it impossible for Nazis or the like to get in power.

When I see famous people, mostly form Hollywood travel to Venezuela in support of the current Gov., I have to wonder why. Are they just interested in making an impression on the communist / Marxist friends?

Gov's dont' care and will support anyone who keeps the oil flowing, but liberals are supposed to care about people.

Melania live now giving speech, by herself, it's kind of awkward. She's talking about the hard life/work of a fashion model, don't think the crowd can relate.

5 days out, Hillary at 65.6% - http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/

Some real tight races, Nevada, Florida, NC, all about 1 point difference.

This whole process goes on for too long, I think that's 1 thing most would agree with.

Are you optimistic about Hillary as president?

I think she'll do a fine job. She did a great job as Senator, 74% approval rating. Most of the world would rather have her, except Russia (posted earlier link). She works well on both sides of the isle, see all the Republicans she has supporting her. Obviously the email stuff/leaks isn't a good look but again, it's politics, and if the RNC, Trump had their stuff leaked, it would be just as bad or worse. It's not a pretty business. And the other choice is Trump. So we didn't have the best choices and that's really on the people. They put them up. So many people complaining about the choices but they should look in the mirror.

Wanted to add, aka edit:

Besides Trump not being a decent human being and completely unqualified, I'm thinking Supreme Court. I think the Dems should be pushing that harder. It would be interesting if he was President, got Conservative judges and actually tried to overturn Roe v. Wade. We would have the biggest protests in history. On social issues, I'm liberal. Business, moderate/step to right. Crime, super Conservative. But again, Dems should be hitting that harder. For those Sanders supporters, think how harder it would be to push Progressive issues with a Conservative Supreme Court.

I disagree on a few points but mostly, Hillary's email problems are her own fault. She will have a much weaker administration b/c people rightfully don't trust her.

She will / would probably be better working with congress then Obama has been.

I wonder if she'll have to pardon herself.

Appointing Supreme Court judges is important. I worry about loosing our #1A. There are a lot of liberals who think we should have speech laws like Canada or the UK.

Progressives seem to regard the Bible as hate speech.
