I know these videos are slanted, but that he could find this many apparently educated Americans to agree to repealing the Bill of Rights. The country is screwed.

So you went from you know these videos are slanted --------> to the country is screwed based on a few idiots? Well, that makes sense. That same guy could have made a video showing the exact opposite. The reality is, there are idiots everywhere in the world.

JB....."repeal the Bill of Rights." You're missing the point. The guy shouldn't have been able to find a single reasonably intelligent looking person to agree with that. "The country is screwed" is a subjective statement. You're free to believe whatever you wish. Until some authority says otherwise.

LOL they ask many people and then only show the few ones that answer the way thats sensational (to get more youtube hits) There people that will just nod their head to either get it over with while being polite, and those that think if they are agreeable they might be on TV

What bugs me is that some people don't even think twice about the fundamental absurdity of repealing the Bill of Rights in the first place, let alone agreeing that it was okay and what it means.

In his inaugural appearance at the podium of the White House press briefing room today, Principal Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz stumbled when he was asked by a reporter if the administration considers the Taliban a terrorist group.

Schultz made his comment during a discussion of hostage negotiations that occurred with the Taliban over the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

โ€œThe Taliban is an armed insurgency,โ€ began Schultz. โ€œISIL is a terrorist group. We donโ€™t make concessions to terrorist groups.โ€

Why does Obama & Co. use the term ISIL when everyone else uses ISIS?
Why does Obama & Co. NOT use the term Islamic terrorism, when virtually everyone else does?
Why does Obama & Co. NOT consider the Taliban a terrorist group anymore?
What's with all this Political Correctness? Why not call thing by their name?
Why are Liberals afraid of offending the poor Islamist terrorists?

Hope he doesn't run. lots of better candidates out there

Watch, Hilary will run against another person like McCain or Dole (unelectable boring/old) or a Bush (2-2 on tanking economy, want a third?)

If the alternative 'sucks' you know who will win.

No Romney or Bush either. Those are being fabricated by the MSM to lose against Hillary. The mostly Liberal Media will make sure to dig up anything negative of the better candidates out there.

My favorites in this order:
Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Scott Walker and Marco Rubio.

Mind you, Hillary is no spring chicken. She'll be almost 70 when elections come, but I don't see that age being a problem.

In the last elections people were saying that Ron Paul and McCain were old and would die during their presidency if they got elected. Well here they are alive and well and still looking healthy.

You don't really need too much energy if you spend so much time playing golf and having someone write your speeches and teleprompters to read them from, not to mention 90% of the Media kissing your a$$ even if you $hit on them.

I still wonder what Romney and McCain were up to. They were the most lackluster campaigns I have ever seen - as though they didn't want to win. Both campaigned hard and rough against their fellow Republicans. Then, when they got the nomination, it was kid gloves (McCain) or simply not showing up (Romney). For 2 ambitious men, it makes no sense on the face of it.

And yet, Romney says he wants another shot?

Rand Paul looks promising. Cruz, maybe. Neither seems likely to get nominated. The GOP will find a nice soft punching bag for the Dems again.

Who are your top three?

The Republican congress is busy putting together the membership of important 2015 committees. There are several of note, but here are three that I found especially entertaining:

1. Congress has decided to place Texas Senator Ted Cruz as the new chair of the Subcommittee on Space, Science and Competitiveness. Cruz is a hardcore disbeliever in climate change, and, until appointed to this position, has tried to defund NASA (but now seems to think Texas can get NASA back on track - "NASA, this is Houston calling . . . .") Woohoo! Go Ted.

2. Another terrific choice: Marco Rubio, another hardcore climate change denier, will be the chair of the Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries and Coast Guard. Right on, Rubio!

3. Mega-anti-immigration Senator Steve Sessions is now the chair of the Senate judiciary subcommittee on immigration.

Didn't Romney's own son say his father (told him he) didn't want to win?
