Religion of Peace ?
Let me think.
In Africa you have the Lord's Resistance Army, that is an extremist Christian paramilitary organization, that has committed lots of killings and human rights abuse. Much like Boko Haram. And it is not new at all.
What about the radical anti-abortion groups setting clinics on fire and assaulting, even killing doctors ? Shouldn't it qualify as Christian terrorism ? I think it should. And we are not talking about uprooted immigrants coming from some backward country far away. We are talking about the USA, a country depicted by some as the greatest country on Earth, a country supposedly made of educated and civilized countrymen. But it has no shortage of religious freaks nonetheless. There is a town called Waco in Texas too.
The Westboro Church, another fine church enjoying the benefits of freedom of speech, that it denies to others. Moderates ?
Speaking of which, they operate a number of websites including this one:

Hey Gilsan, whaddya think ? Do they belong to a Religion of Peace? Or did they hijack the message ? I really need your insight on this.
The homegrown Islamophobes like Anders Breivik for example, also justify attacks against Islam and Muslims with the need to defend local Christian roots and values.
We could also talk about Jewish violence against Palestinians, in the form of occupation, killings, deportation, arbitrary abuse, deprivation of human rights.
It's strange, but apparently in this day and age terrorism must be perpetrated in the name of Islam to be qualified as such. Boy people have selective memories.
The 'sheeple' focus on a handful of braindead fanatics because they are being brainwashed and have blinders on. The greatest danger to democracy and freedom comes from within, and I mean the extremist parties that gather a very substantial portion of the votes. In my view, and by that measure, the number of extremists (or followers) in European countries typically varies between 5% and 25%, depending on the vote count. To sum up I am more worried about voluntary, collective suicide than terrorism. So should you.
