So you're a fish and an an Alaskan fisherman - I guess you must eat all the little fish.
The Big fish eat the little ones.
I'm so confused . . . and all spawned out.

Liberals always are, that's why can't have them in roles of power...
Bono the stupid liberal said that "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle." I think that's very true.

You can tune a bicycle but you can't tuna fish.

If rugby is a "white man's sport" and blacks don't really have much interest in it, why the quota system? Why don't they use the quota system in soccer?

Well, I personally do not fall into the "black" or "colored" categories as was defined by the Apardheid regime. There are many black and colored people that like rugby. So I do not speak for them when I say that I do not like supporting that game.

Soccer gets a fraction of the funding that Rugby receives, but the "quotas" that are applied to soccer at the moment, are identical to that of rugby-just switched around.

There are actually many non-black players o the field in soccer, more than the non-white players on the field for rugby. SARU is the only organization in sports that opposes adding non-white players to their teams.

A couple of fish related quotes from one of my favorite works. Just because.

โ€œMy father was very sure about certain matters pertaining to the universe. To him all good things-trout as well as eternal salvation-come by grace and grace comes by art and art does not come easy.โ€ -Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It

โ€œMany of us would probably be better fishermen if we did not spend so much time watching and waiting for the world to become perfectโ€ -Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It

The Palin family got into a drunken brawl. Only in Alaska.

A liberal media's wet dream.

Or, we could talk about:

Obama's failing economy.
Obama's failing foreign policy in the middle east.
Obama's failing foreign policy in Eastern Europe.
Obama's failing immigration policy.
Obama's failing anti-terrorism policies.

But, whatever.

yeah, there's a real connection between what you consider as failing presidential policies and public brawl the Palins participated in. Not newsworthy at all to report on a former vice-presidential candidate screaming, "Do you know who we are?" while her kids are punching people, but whatever, the conservatives and the media wouldn't make a big deal out of it if it were a famous liberal family, would they.

I notice there are no actual action videos, which means someone is working a financial deal for the rights. Should be worth a lot . . . and will be interesting viewing. You'll get to see the Palins in real life, the darling of the Tea Party and spokesperson for their policies. Nope, not political at all, and certainly not worth making the news.

That suit looks about as fashionable on him as a cowboy hat... one of those paper kind that you find in public restrooms in a dispenser above the toilet. Take one, they're free!

Now . . . about those Palins. . .

The significance of the brawl itself is a topic itself, but right now I'm wondering where the videos are. I've read that between 50 and 70 people were at the party, and 20 were in the fight. Normally, I'd guess the whole thing got caught on at least 10 phone video cams, yet it has been several days and no videos posted. Seems very odd. Maybe people are trying to negotiate with YouTube and news agencies, or maybe they've banded all together for a lump sum deal. Or maybe they turned them all over to the police as evidence (which will prove to be a mistake when they come back). Maybe the Palins offered to buy all the videos, or maybe the party's host didn't allow any phones inside. In any case, in this time of instant video postings, it's sure strange how nothing has surfaced. Even the local news station was perplexed about that. So far the closet thing to a video is an interview (Good Morning, America, I think) with a guy who was at the party. And he says he was fired for giving the interview.
EDIT: Here's the latest local newspaper article on the brawl (no mention of videos here, either, but it's pretty funny):

Anybody from Scotland reading? Was just reading up on a vote for independence in a few days:

Scottish independence battle draws 'day of reckoning' warning to business
http://news.msn.com/world/scottish-independence-battle-draws-day-of-reckoning-warning-to-business

A referendum on whether Scotland should be an independent country will take place on Thursday, 18 September 2014.

Polls Show Scottish Referendum Too Close to Call

They should be playing Braveheart over there, get them amped up.

It's nice to see Willie doesn't suffer from slave mentality or British propaganda. Maybe the Tampa Bay Bucs should watch the movie.

I'm not saying vote yes or no but it's just a little more complicated than painting your face blue and faking an accent.

I suppose living in Scotland you understand perfectly all the issues involved - currency, financial, immigration, acceptance into the EU... etc etc..

I suppose you've also looked at this from the impact to the EU and thus potentially the US?
Or is this just about being able to put Scotland on a passport ?

Yes or No potentially has huge impacts on millions of people (particularly those in the small minority). At least it's ore organized than Crimea :)

I wish Scotland the best of luck either way..but nationalism shouldn't be the reason for any decisions imho.

I believe you're an agent for the crown. Please share all the "EU ramifications" and "all the issues involved - currency, financial, immigration, acceptance into the EU... etc etc.."
