No surprise after Iranians got RQ-170 2 years ago. It shows that drones are very vulnerable technology against technologically advanced countries who can disrupt or falsify the link signal coming from the base.

Not sure what to think about the LGBT/St. Patrick's Day parades. Lots of pressure being placed on both sides. Beer companies pulling out, Mayors pulling out. It's a mess.

I'm very sure what I think about it.The parade is a Christian (mostly Roman Catholic) celebration of IRISH heritage, celebrating their patron saint, not Gay rights. If gays want to march and participate in the St. Patrick's Day parade, they should do so without banners or flags depicting their homosexual tendencies.

The LGBT community seems to think that everything is about expressing their deviant sexuality all the time and worst of all, they want to force it on everyone else.

There's a time and place for everything. If they want to show the world that they love having sex with people of the same sex, then do it on a Gay Parade and leave St Patrick's alone,

Mayors, and Beer companies, like Guinness and other pussies that pulled out their sponsorship, can just shove their bottles up their Aztecs and go to hell

As a business decision, it's gotta be tough choosing a side, knowing you're in a no-win situation. However, I agree it's a little spineless to pull out for the reason they did. I agree with Gilsan: It's not okay to hijack someone else's celebration to promote your own political/civil/religious cause. Where does it end? Next thing you know, some group will disrupt a funeral procession to promote a new energy drink. Wouldn't be right.

What is left and what is right are just pejoratives for being in the political spectrum. He really fought for the common man and that's how he should be remembered.

That would explain the FDNY Fire Fighters, the multiple uniformed armed forces that participate. I'm sure the United States Air Force Honor Guard represented their Irish roots well.

St Patricks day was started by protestants and the parade really has very little to do with Ireland at all. The current organizers do claim they are Catholic but I am always baffled by the belief that all Irish people are Catholic... perhaps it's time that people read up on the history of Ireland a little.

It is a private event though, and as such, they can be exclusionary in terms of who can and can't participate. I would consider starting a Gay Parade on St Patrick's day

Would you like the armed forces to shove weapons of mass destruction up their ass too? I don't understand why they should sponsor an event if they don't believe it meets their moral standards. You can't be all pro- right to have whatever parade you want and then be all pissed because a company exercises their right to not sponsore it? They just didn't sponsor it.

I can be ALMOST 100% positive that belonging to a school called LondonDerry High School is far more political to the average person in parts of the homeland than whether someone is gay.

Of course, we should probably talk about the non-politics of the Police Service of Northern Ireland marching, right?

gays in US will tell us they are fighting for their rights but i believe they are fighting for common acceptance. Welcome to the minority existence in america! many have lived iwth it buy the gays seem to be having a hard time accepting their position in America and the world.

Bottom line if it is a private event then they can set the rules. Im sure the city would allow a gay st pat day parade too. If a company doesnt want to sponsor the event, then too bad. If you dont lke it then dont buy their beer anymore if you think that they are raging homosexual beer producers that are coming for your children.

In other news, Mrs. Feinstein was really supportive of the NSA ... untill she figured out that they were spying on her and her committee, maybe she is a criminal, terrorist or has something to hide. Why else would she care if the NSA or CIA is gathering info about her? I guess she doesnt like the cookies from the NSA snack room anymore.

As far as the gay marchers go, they should be more than welcome at the parade - with the understanding that hundreds of conservative organizations will then be allowed to march in protest during any gay parade that similarly occurs in the city.

Everyone has the right to speak out and express their opinions, as long as they are civil. If a parade occurs on publicly funded streets, can it really be considered private?
