I will say this, I saw a 7.9% Unemployment Rate next time it comes out, so .1 up, but overall, still trending down. We'll know shortly.

US economy adds 171K jobs; rate rises to 7.9 pct.

http://www.sfgate.com/business/pers...s-171K-jobs-rate-rises-to-7-9-pct-4003113.php

It also seems that according to some Liberals, Hurricane Sandy is Romney's fault now. :o But, the facts are that "Sandy" and "Irene" happened during the Obama administration. I wonder what factcheck.org will say about this. Is it Obama's or is it Romney's fault?

My money would be on nature. I think it's nature's fault.

I wonder who'll be running in 2016, after Obama's second term.

Is Ryan the guy for the Republicans? Marco Rubio looks to be on the rise. Any Republican know who's coming up, future star?

For the Dems, don't think it'll be Hillary, she'll be 69. I think her shot came and went. Dems, I have no idea.

Ohio is looking great. 9 different polls, 8 for Obama, 1 tied.

RCP average, same time
2004 - Bush +2.1 - won Ohio/Election
2008 - OBama +4.6 - won Ohio/Election
2012 - Obama +2.6 - winning Ohio...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/oh/ohio_romney_vs_obama-1860.html

As far as the earlier discussion about jobs, recession, Recovery Act

http://www.barackobama.com/jobsrecord Kinda looks better off to me, than 4 years ago.

November 2008, lost 797,000 jobs, now we're gaining. Again that old basic math stuff.

"Obama and his campaign often note that the economy was losing well over 500,000 jobs a month when he took office"

This last month
"According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the economy added 171,000 jobs"

Weekends, Medical leave, Ending child labor, Employer-Based Health Coverage,40 hour week, workplace saftey regulations all due to unions fighting and demanding these things, otherwise they would have never happened or happened much later.
"Hardin said the crews were not turned away but were made to believe that affiliating with the union was a requirement to work. "
were not turned away

But last time I looked, killing terrorists is a good thing, shouldn't need the media to tell you that.

Yeah, and he shoulda released the hounds about 20 minutes into the attack back on 9/11/2012. Shouldn't need the media to tell you that, either, JB. But, no, Obama will politicize the fighting, if he gets the opportunity.

The only one I see politicizing it is Fox/those on the right. If he gets the opportunity to get those responsible, that's doing his job. I would hope both sides would be ok with that. I don't think any of this kind of thing should be politicized, even the examples I gave earlier with Bush and Reagan. This type of stuff has happened under every President. Try to get the facts and then try to take steps so it doesn't happen again.

Fox News has been asking why he wasn't doing his job, one month before the attack, when security was removed instead of added, when reports came in that the compound could not withstand an assault and that al qaeda forces were nearby, , when, before the assault reports of hostile forces in the area were being received and ignored, then during the assault, as pleas for help were being given and ignored. Then for two weeks after as he and his representatives made the media circuit, fictionalizing an account about an online movie causing riots. If that is 'politicizing', then sign me up.

"as pleas for help were being given and ignored."

That hasn't been proven true at all, latest news is:

"CIA officials on the ground in Libya dispatched security forces to the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi within 25 minutes and made other key decisions about how to respond to the waves of attacks on U.S. installations on September 11, a senior American intelligence official said on Thursday."

"Officials in Washington monitored events through message traffic and a hovering U.S. military drone but did not interfere with or reject requests for help from officials in the line of fire, the official said."

This is still an ongoing investigation. As I mentioned earlier, Fox has no names to any of this, just anonymous sources, mysterious tapes etc. No facts.

To actually believe we would ignore pleas for help, in Washington, on the ground over there, is pretty ridiculous to me.

You talk about politicizing, that's exactly what the right is trying to do with this. You guys were pinning your hopes that this was the thing to get Obama right before the election. Look at Gilsan's earlier posts, talking about this being Obama's Watergate and such, ridiculous.

Have it on CNN, talking about Hurricane Sandy. Flip it to Fox, Bhenghazi, hearing some guy saying this will go down as the biggest political/military tragedy since Vietnam. I mean really. It's so obvious, I think it actually backfires. It's like the loons are coming out the woodwork now.

If he did in fact do that, it is not because he isnt "strong" but because there is something going on much bigger than we know about. Therefore there would be a similar or exact same reaction from Rmoney, and the Rebloodicans or a another Democripian

Romney is being charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by profiteering during the auto industry bailout.

http://readersupportednews.org/opin...against-romney-for-auto-bail-out-profiteering

(Predicting the comments in this thread: "Mainstream Media" blah blah blah, "liberal" blah blah blah ... please someone say something original.)

Gee what a surprise.

The Romneys' gigantic windfall was hidden inside an offshore corporation inside a Limited Partnership inside a trust which both concealed the gain and reduces taxes on it.
Romney's only real foreign policy expertise is hiding money in tax havens.

Gilsan: blah, blah, blah...stinking liberals . . . blah, blah, blah. . . brainwashed liberals . . . blah, blah, blah, . . . unfair MSM. . . blah. blah, blah . . . I can't prove anything, so I have to accuse and call names... blah, blah, blah . . . I'm a gonad.

You prove once again how low and dishonest Liberals like yourself can be, taking what I posted completely out of context.. I never made any such claim, NOT even close. And your claim that I'm angry? LOL, add this to your long list of absurdity.

Whatโ€™ taken out of context? Do you even know what that means? You said, โ€œUnbelievable, you still don't get it... I hear on the radio and on blogs conservatives claiming Liberals are demented or they suffer from some kind of genetic defect, I honestly never believed this until I started reading your posts.โ€ That means you now believe it. So whatโ€™s out of context?

You also said, โ€œYour right, you cant convince a Liberal of anything, I learned a long time ago that Liberals are the most intellectually dishonest people on the planet, I think the reason I do it is because I like watching them implode.โ€

And, as predictable as a broken record, you said, โ€œAnd for the informed Obama supporters, these are usually liberals, diehard Democrats and feminists with a progressive ideology,โ€

And on and on. Same clichรฉd terms; same clichรฉd message. Define your favorite term lately: โ€œintellectually dishonest.โ€ My long list of โ€œabsurdityโ€ [sic] ? More meaningless platitudes.

Youโ€™re so lost you canโ€™t even see yourself. But Iโ€™ll give you a chance to make good. Instead of bitching about liberals and anyone else who doesnโ€™t subscribe to your narrow-visioned world, give one good positive post with specific examples of how Romney is actually going to help anything. Or give one post of what you would do to help the country, and explain why it would work.

Anytime I request something of substance from those screaming loudest about how bad things are, they canโ€™t seem to offer anything any better than what they are screaming about. You think so highly of your mental acumen, dazzle me with something intellectually stunning. Iโ€™m waiting to be wowed.

Another liberal smear campaign! It's obviously all totally made up!

Greg Palast at Seniors for a Democratic Society:

"According to ethics law expert Dan Curry who drafted the ethics complaint, Ann Romney does not have a federally-approved blind trust. An approved โ€œblindโ€ trust may not be used to hide a major investment which could be affected by Romney if he were to be elected President. Other groups joining the UAW and CREW include Public Citizen, the Service Employees International Union, Public Campaign, People for the American Way and The Social Equity Group.

... In 2009, Ann Romney partnered with her husbandโ€™s key donor, billionaire Paul Singer, who secretly bought a controlling interest in Delphi Auto, the former GM auto parts division. Singerโ€™s hedge fund, Elliott Management, threatened to cut off GMโ€™s supply of steering columns unless GM and the governmentโ€™s TARP auto bail-out fund provided Delphi with huge payments. While the US treasury complained this was โ€œextortion,โ€ the hedge funds received, ultimately, $12.9 billion in taxpayer subsidies.

As a result, the shares Singer and Romney bought for just 67 cents are today worth over $30, a 4,000% gain. Singerโ€™s hedge fund made a profit of $1.27 billion and the Romneyโ€™s tens of millions."

A long article.. quite interesting. At least they crushed the union (those pension hungry scumbags) and created 1,000s of new jobs for non-immigrants (in Mexico)

Pretty funny avatar. Can't tell if the Pengy has the hots for P-bear, or is planning to scare the bejesus out of her (can't say "him" in case the first part is true, and you know what that would mean in this thread). Gets funnier every time I look at it. All kinds of possibilities . . . .

Amazing that New Jersey turns away non-Union Relief Crews even though its a time of great national tragedy. Why are these Union thugs, most of which are Democrats, doing this?

This is not true. Spokespersons for the companies which were named in that rumor as having their crews reportedly "turned away" have debunked it.

Huntsville Utilities spokes Bill Yell said nine of his company's employees were working in New Jersey.

"That's a rumor," he said of the report that workers who traveled to New Jersey to help out were being turned away.

Joe Wheeler EMC said on its website reports that its workers were turned away from Hurricane Sandy relief efforts "are not true."

"Joe Wheeler EMC was never commissioned to go to New Jersey or New York," the company said. "Instead, JWEMC sent eight linemen to Denton, Maryland, to help out Choptank Electric Cooperative."

also:
Yell noted that in cases where crews are sent to other states to help in emergencies, "it's not a situation where everybody jumps in truck and heads up there. You have to work through trade associations. You have mutual-aid agreements and you've got to find a system that needs you and is able to take you."

He said not all electric systems use the same voltage and technical configurations.

Next time do a little research, instead of just being a "sheeple" of the right-wing scaremonger media ;).

Rudy Giuliani, in his latest speech for Romney, has joined the lunatic fringe. Iโ€™ve never seen such nonsense from a politician who not long ago was credited with bringing people together during an event that cost American lives. Now Giuliani, the hero of 9/11 is saying, โ€œIf [Romney] can have the same success for us that he had in running the Olympics, maybe something like what happened in Libya could have been avoided!โ€

Say what! The Olympics? Libya? Thatโ€™s got to be the stupidest thing, the stupidest association, the stupidest logic spewed on purpose in this whole frigging election campaign. Hell, it should be Romneyโ€™s campaign slogan and the Republican motto. Itโ€™s perfect.
