If Obama were to remain another 4 years, he may end up playing in the US Ryder Cup Team

Thanks for the read; it was long and "grandiose"... but the ladies love that about me.

Thanks also for demanding "proof" to back up a statement. Please try to hold yourself to the same standard you ask of others.

While there are other polls, you specifically requested a "Gallup poll of foreign leadership bereft of political nuance". Here you go:

Gallop polled 26,000 men and women in leading countries and found Obama would win in a "landslide" with 81% of the vote.

Romney would only win 1 country, Israel, with 65% of the vote. Ironically, he would next do best in Pakistan, with 41% of the vote.

Note, around half of the global population, projected out from the poll numbers, say they would like to vote because the U.S. impacts their lives.

So its not about "foreign" interest versus "our" interests... its that we share mutual interests - in one world.

Its like NamePros, we all play by the same rules no matter what country your from. One member on voice... to vote on any 'issue'/thread they choose.

By the same token, the U.S consumes the lions share of the world's resources; 25% of its oil for 2% of its population. And far worse ratios in other consumption areas

This is a form of 'taxation without representation'. Made worse by our industrial byproduct 'fingerprints' found in every living organism and ecosystem on the planet.

So if your Really interested in "Foreign Policy", you, and Republicans in general, will take the Global Voter Polls into consideration... but you won't, and that will eventually be your downfall... when the liberal "big tent" platform is globalized.

So if Romney wins, you still lose. And now Obama joins Clinton on the Global Stage... building that tent.

... Now, you have offered no proof that your statement is true, no gallup polls of foreign leadership bereft of political nuance. But, let's just say you are correct, that foreign entities, who have their own interests at stake, rather than ours, think it is highly important that Obama win this election. Why do you suppose that is?

And, do you suppose it is more important that the United States protect it's own interests, or serves the interests of countries like China, first.

"Obama wins massive endorsement from ... Mormons?"

"Tribune endorsement: Too Many Mitts"

"Well, this must be awkward. The Salt Lake Tribune, the paper of record in Salt Lake City โ€” which is also the city with the largest Mormon population in the country โ€” has just gone and endorsed Barack Obama rather than fellow Mormon Mitt Romney. In an editorial, the paper praises and thanks Romney for his outstanding work in 2002, when the Olympics, organized by Romney, showed the world the city's best. But the editors say it was Romney's "shape shifting" during the nomination process, from courting the Tea Party to the GOP's far-right contingent that made them wary of the candidate. The paper calls Obama's leadership "decisive," and says he has earned a second term, whereas Romney "does not deserve a first."

Eh, I've had enough debating for a bit, think I'll watch some football tonight while working on a new website. Debates at this point aren't going to change my mind, and I think everyone interested enough to watch the debates by now probably already has a position they are sticking with.

BTW, SNL was pretty doggone funny on the biden/ryan debate, regardless what side you are on, imo, lol.

A lesson in irony.

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

This ends today's lesson

Meanwhile Iowa is a "free loader" state, costing U.S. taxpayers $1.61 for every dollar collected.

So, following the analogy, Iowans would be like house pets who've all ready grown dependent on handouts from Uncle Sam.

Now I get the name "iowa dawg". Barking at wild animals in the park, and the 'food stamp' stereotype, is not uncommon for rural Republican dogs.;)

Don't just feed conservatives, when there's enough irony to go around.

This ends today's lesson.8^X

ps. I know you lov to dis California, dawg, but we pay more in taxes than we get back. Thanks to Obama stimulus, Cali now gets 87 cents back for every dollar paid. We lost 21 cents on the dollar under Bush.

It's interesting what strategies are on stage. Romney is trying to exhibit calm leadership, and Obama is pressing to gert into a scrap. Personally, I think some witty humor would carry this debate. It's what people would remember.

These guys promise way too much. There's no way we can be energy independent unless something extraordinary happens. This directly affects our foreign policy. They've got the oil; we want it.

There's no way there's going to be stability in the Middle East. I can sure tell neither of these guys has spent serious adult time in the Middle East. It doesn't take too long to understand why there is instability. Religion isn't the way we see it. It's easy to say we need to educate both young men and women, but young girls get shot in the head for speaking publicly about freedom of education. I taught in a university over there and grew to understand the complexities that a government built on religion faces. Imagine our government and courts running our country based on the Old Testament. If nothing else, read Leviticus for a sample of what would happen.

A very good 3rd debate. Lots of similarities in their foreign policies, which is normal. All in all it was very close, though I think Obama was more aggressive and I believe he won the debate. Not sure it will make a great difference in the momentum of the race, which appears to be favoring Romney. The next few days will clear the dust in the air.
