What's the difference between an AR-15 and a pump shotgun shooting into a crowded room? Dead is dead.

BTW, 17 murdered is a slow month in Chicago. When was the last time you heard ANY news outlet wringing their hands about gun murders in Chi-town? (hint: it was right before an election )

This is your/NRA typical distraction type stuff. We're talking about something very specific, you try to turn it to something else. As far as Chicago or some other places, I think it's mainly 2 things. It's not happening in my neighborhood, why should I care. I think many see this as self-regulating. It is mainly gang on gang violence, with some completely innocent people getting caught up in the mix. These mass shootings, the victims are usually completely innocent.

Back to the original topic. I posted earlier about Feinstein's proposal to raise the age to 21 for the AR-15. Didn't see a response from you on that one. Wasn't sure if you were waiting for the NRA's response to copy and paste.

I don't think the NRA is, because then you lose sales from 18, 19, and 20 year olds. I don't think the NRA cares about mentally unstable people buying guns, but a gun sale is a gun sale.

There is no cure-all, but there are some things you can do better.
