I guess Senator Duckworth's decision to bring her 10 day old baby to work in a room with 100 other people was all for naught?

No because it brought the senate into an era where new parents don’t need to choose between work responsibility and family.

Looks like baby spent most of the time safely snuggled up real close to mom.

Vote was contentious but sounds like there was a lot of bipartisan baby schmoozing. Given current divisiveness, bipartisan anything is a step back towards sanity.

I’m sure one of you will find something mean spirited to say because she’s a democrat, but maybe we can all agree that’s a cute outfit for the little one’s senate debut?
Mom is technically on maternity leave, but you can’t vote unless you’re on the senate floor so she’s going in. 10 days after giving birth. Whether you agree with her or not, this is someone who takes her responsibilities to her constituents seriously.

He owns the bloody country so he can do what he wants with it. BTW he has till now, 15 wives and 23 children. Because he is stll relatively young, those numbers will probably multiply by at least 2 or 3.

Shooter will be determined a Lone wolf, premeditated, methodical and pathological killer. I predict, no other answers coming. Vegas PR nightmare. Hotel and Vegas PD hoping the matter will be forgotten, bad for vegas tourism business. Huge lawsuits or out of court settlements, I’d imagine the lawyers are all over this.

My real question is why the maid’s or security never asked questions about all the strange sized “suitcases”. Saw some videos released of people helping him haul in his arsenal. Maybe they assumed or he convinced them he was a trade show exhibitor. Reasonable excuse really with all the shows in Vegas.

Not sure if you recall the huge fire in Vegas MGM years ago, as I recall people jumped out the windows to die... horrible tragedy. They quietly rebuilt the hotel, simply changed the name to Bally’s, and end of story. I even stayed there a few years later. 10+ years later the name reemerged a Newer, mega “MGM” with theme park built down the Blvd. years after, diagonally across from Excalibur.

That is incredible and arrogant. Good news, Teresa May said no. After reading the article it’s a strong recommendation, not some innane law. When I read that, and thinking about it appears perhaps the EU is doomed if people like that are the ringmasters of the EU circus. More I read the entire EU thing seems it was a bad idea.

Unlike the US, lots of separate countries that are based on longstanding and distinct cultural identities, origins, languages, holidays, religions, traditions, etc. in all the separate countries that should be perserved imho, Not shoved all under one umbrella. The “Refugee” problems thing would have been controlled without Schengen borderless movements , right? France and Germany invited them, so they might never have been able to migrate north to Sweden.

Watching the UN be so indecisive, I have no idea how Brussels effectively even runs the show. Not to be disrespectful but, it seems like all countries should go back to borders, since the Euro is accepted keep it, it wouldn’t be hard, except not sure how bankrupt certain nations would be without EU.

Brexit, and no more of that. But they need to get rid of that Khan guy though.
