I love watermelons and the ones we have here are very sweet and juicy. When in season they are quite cheap... about 50-60 cents a kilo. At the moment they are about €1.20 Kg

I know it must be tough, my best friend is married to a woman from Cameroon, has 2 biracial kids with her. He's a big time Trump supporter as well. But this is the type of stuff Obama was getting. And again, maybe you were respectful of him but many weren't and they took it to that level.

You might have gotten used to it but it has to tough seeing your son go thru that. Hopefully it gets better in the future. I think my friend lives in a more multi-cultural area in Virginia/DC so it's not as bad as I imagine some other areas might be.

As far as the heat Trump gets. He's President, it goes with the territory but he does bring a lot on himself. The media feeds off his tweets. He constantly pokes the media, calling them Fake News, talks about their ratings, how some are failing (even when they're not) so they're going to poke him right back. And then using it to attack people, even other Republicans, using it as payback etc. It would be less heat, if he used it just to talk solely on the issues, promote his agenda etc. He's just not learning how to correctly leverage Twitter or he's just happy making his supporters happy and not interested in anything else.

Yep, used to live in TN, ex gf, so I know there are places where it's bad. I asked my friend about it, because I was curious what kind of stuff he might be going thru. Besides the looks, if anybody straight up says anything. I can't imagine being out with your family somewhere, to hear that kind of stuff, especially with kids.

The constant anti-Muslim blabber and misguided policies from 45 (or @GILSAN) simply is another form of racism. If you can't stand being pointed out for your skin color (or that of your children), why would you support someone who has been elected on a racist platform.
That doesn't make sense to me. Somebody who is racist doesn't like anyone, not even their own kind.

LOL... I absolutely double love Watermelon. In fact I'm willing to bet that I love watermelon more than any black in the US and I also love fried chicken, curry chicken and barbecue chicken. Now, if asses like JB or BS-Promote get offended by that, then that makes me very happy. JB can post all he wants, makes no difference to me, since his posts don't show up... thank God

And quite frankly it confuses the hell out of me why any black person or white hating white person in the US finds it offensive for a white person to mention the words Watermelon and Fried Chicken.

If I mention to someone from India that I love Curry chicken, they will love it and feel proud that you like their food. If you come to Portugal and you like our food we will feel great about it. See the difference?
