Police arrested and detained Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein (charged with assault) for her role in protesting against the bombing of Palestinians, mostly women and children, in their sleep. That's what I call moral fiber.

Linking arms is a form of aggressive violence towards the police. Don't believe me? Just listen to Margo Bennett, the former Chief of Police at UC Berkeley:

"The individuals who linked arms and actively resisted, that in itself is an act of violence."

She's now inflicting the exact same violent arrests on peaceful students at Indiana University.

Politicians have a way of doing that, it's called politics. But I doubt that the arrest was staged any more than she was 'performing'. A moral obligation to protest for peace outweighed her fear that in so doing would not be received well by the authorities.

Some leaders lead by example, willing to put themselves in harms way for the rights of others; while others hide behind teams of lawyers skimming off the top, all the while scheming how they can make money off the gullible in order to enrich their family, friends and accomplices.
