China is close to taking world power .. if anyone launches a nuke .. they go just like everyone else .. that is why they are nervous ..

Aside from that, they are also nervous about the people. The Chinese government is not loved by the Chinese people, just like the US govt is not loved by Americans.

Americans always used to ask, "Why don't the Chinese/North Koreans/ whoever just rebel?" Maybe now you are starting to see why. The first to fight back are taken down hard, and destroyed. A lot of lives are lost or destroyed before a revolution succeeds (and that's even if it succeeds). Xi and his thugs are worried about their control over their people first. Then they have this fantasy of world dominance where China is restored as the global leader - that part is not rational at all, it's all pride and emotion. And it may end the world as we know it.

The only possible way would be if the military sides with the people IMO … Xi is seeking to be the complete worlds main leader IMO … the leader the world bows to and cherishes … while this is unlikely due to the egos of other world leaders .. Xi could indeed change the world as we know it … if China were to try and do anything with Japan .. that would set it all off .. however I don’t feel if China does attack Taiwan that anything on a large level will happen to China .. I would like to be proved wrong on that .. Russia and Putin are watching with an appetite… and for good reason .. if Russia does not engage should things break out .. the Ruskies could go for the whole pot of gold if things turned bad for China and the USA … Neil Degrasse Tyson said that all of this is an experiment .. that on YouTube … unfortunately I feel we have far passed an experiment …

Russia and Putin are watching with an appetite… and for good reason .. if Russia does not engage should things break out .. the Ruskies could go for the whole pot of gold if things turned bad for China and the USA …

I think the whole Russia-phobia thing is overrated. The USSR is not coming back. Ever. I also think that Russia is not much of an ally for China. I could see Putin, like you say, playing the middle... he could talk like he is supporting China, but maybe dangle a carrot to the West. Then watch him switch sides in exchange for some grand promises from the West. Russia could pick up lots that way without much effort. Rationally, there is nothing in it for Putin to side with the west at the moment - he would be agreeing to become a US puppet. Now he can be a thorn in the side of the US and also make big demands if it comes to the point that the US really needs him.
