An interesting development …. My dads father was born in Ireland because his mother .. my great grandmother had gone to Ireland to take care of her father .. I had contacted the US consulate in Dublin Ireland 6 months ago about what I would need to move to Ireland …

I received an email late last night saying for me to contact the consulate ..I assume because they don’t want to pay the phone charges … any way .. I spoke to them .. they told me because my dads father is confirmed to have been born in Ireland .. that the country has “” Entitlement to Citizenship”” based on that … kind of cool … but .. they told me I would have to enter through the United Kingdom first .. then once processed in by the EU … I would go to Ireland and after 12 months .. would be given Ireland citizenship .. it’s damned interesting ..

Dual citizenship would be cool indeed.

if it comes down to it .. I may take that dual citizenship.. the blocks in the road concerning moving there are my wife can’t stay in Ireland for longer than a short visa will allow … Ireland is stringent on visas as well .. Ireland will pay for my flight into the UK .. and into Ireland … I would love to at least visit .. it looks pretty beautiful to me in pictures and videos

On going street Thugery..that has been happening far longer than it should be.....decades now .... Two Puerto Rican people shot ..one killed...one critical ..... and they came back to see if the job was done... 1st degree murder for the shooter ... this is why conceal and open carry are necessary... Thugs will have guns no matter the gun laws.

For sure, from the video, it happened so fast that having conceal/open carry would not have sufficed.

Oh, surviving here. The wheelchair helps a LOT! Even if it is a bit too small for me.
Helps me to get from point A to point B. Just have to take it slow and easy, and then make sure I am taking it slow and easy, getting into the wheelchair and getting out of the wheelchair.
Got nurses and therapists and bathers and others coming and going here.
Taking care of me, but more importantly, helping my wife a lot!
Maybe tomorrow will be out and about in the apartment, even going outside.
Had the door opening/closing hardware removed today to make it easier for me, and the wife, to open and close the door when leaving here or coming in.
