Funny how that works. If Bush had stuttered and stammered like Obama often does, it would be a staple of comedy shows and guys in bars. It would be such a source of malicious humor that there would be some backlash by stutterers groups, which would unleash a whole slew of articles and talk show discussions about the secret pain and shame of stutterers. That would continue after Bush left office, and we would all have to be careful to call stutterers by some non-offensive and difficult to say name, such as "linguistically alternative enunciators." But the Bush jokes would continue, and he would often be referred to "pre-pre-pre...now, wait a minute...pres-pres-president Bush."
However, since it's Obama, this is only being picked up on now, and only by the more fringe sites.
I prefer having a president the media hates, actually. It helps keep them in line. When the media loves a politician, they get free rein to reign.
