We went over this before. You go to some random hospitals and say they aren't full. Nobody said every single hospital in America is full, but some are. ok, take a seat student, 100% is the maximum amount number rounded off and counted in an election in the US , so if 50% are democrat, and 50% are republican , that is 100% of the vote, but there is another group of voters involved, they are called the silent majority, if the silent majority makes up 22% of the vote , then you have a third party that will decide 22% of the vote of the allotted 100% of the total vote percentage. that means there is a total of 22% of the voters are neither Democratic nor Republican

I hate to break it too you, but it doesn't matter how many cases (presumptive or otherwise) you have in your state, if the available hospital beds and/or ICU units is below the number needed to treat them, then you have a problem - some would call it a crisis!

Granted this is doing the math using the old math standards I was taught, but I'm pretty sure it will hold up under your new math rules as well.

If there is a total of 525 ICU slots available in the DFW area and 64% are currently in use, then that leaves just 189 slots available for any new patients that require that level of care.

You know, like patients that have had a heart attack, are sever burn victims, victims of car accidents, shootings, etc, etc, etc... ALONG with any new Covid-19 patients that will require that level of care.

All those other medical issues are not on pause during this Covid crisis! And most of these types of patients don't just spend a day or two in ICU, so capacity is gobbled up VERY quickly.
