Breitbart quotes a report suggesting the cost to U.S. taxpayers of caring for illegal aliens is $113 billion a year.
The Cost Of Illegal Aliens
Breitbart, eh? What a waste of time. The article is just a bunch of "might," "maybe," "could" and "should" suppositions that have been spun into faulty conclusions in an effort to
suggest they might be true, but also means they could be completely untrue.
The whole 96% statement is misleading and incomplete. Based on deportation/removal rates of illegal immigrants for 2013 and 2014, were over 400,000 each year, so exactly where does the 70,000 number come from that is meant to prove some sort criticism of Obama's immigration policy. Truth is, in his first five years, Obama deported as many illegals as Bush did in eight years, around two million.
how does this: "
'"Meanwhile, there remain approximately 900,000 immigrants still in the U.S. with final orders of deportation to their name, of those some 170,000 are convicted criminals.'"
lead to this:
'โIt is therefore almost certainly the case that more than 96% of those apprehended Central American arrivals still remain in the United States, as more arrive by the day,โ Sessions office noted."'
And how does the math work when 400,000 illegals are being sent back each year?
