I never look at age alone. The most important thing is 'electable'. Hilary very electable and can hold her own against a 47 year old.

Sanders is just there so it looks like beat someone.

Lets see if Biden runs

This is the one I have bookmarked from last election - http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_presidential_race.html

So vs. Clinton, Bush has the best chance, Trump the worst, almost 15 points behind. It's why the Dems love Trump. It's interesting to watch, since a lot of people are fed up with politics as usual, they'll just go for Trump just to send a message. I think with social media, everything gets overexposed, so watching the debates, nobody is saying anything new. At least the normal politicians.

Also, this site from Nate Silver, where he nailed the Electoral College numbers - http://fivethirtyeight.com/politics/

http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/donald-trump-is-winning-the-polls-and-losing-the-nomination-2/

There was also that prediction market site, Intrade where people could bet but it looks like it's shut down.

No , age alone is not the overall determining factor, but it should play a role in the selection process. I can't imagine the stress and strain of the office. Starting a presidency at age 70 or above, let alone running for re-election at 74 or more is fairly risky health-wise. Just the stamina needed must be incredible. It's why I respect Obama and his attention to scheduled exercise, including golf.

Soooo... paying lots of attention to exercise and golf is a must, if you want to be a good President.

So you are LYAO at a person who believes in exercising to stay fit and healthy? You don't think it's important for the person who may possibly have the most important job in the world to have some fun playing a round of golf each week to de-stress. You would rather he stayed in the oval office 12 hours per day doing nothing but work? Is that how it's done in Portugal, or are you just applying double standards because he is the President of the United States, or because he is a Democrat? Or is there another reason for laughing at what it takes to stay healthy?

Exercising to stay fit and healthy is wonderful... everyone should do it. Looking at all those Presidential Candidates, from both parties, we can see they all look fairly thin and healthy except for Christie, who is still a bit overweight, but we can see that even he has lost a lot of weight, probably through exercise.

So this is not an exclusive of Obama. GW Bush also played golf and rode bicycles. Ron Paul at his age 6-7 years ago also did a lot of cycling. I could go on and on.

What I'm laughing at is that you respect Obama so much because he exercises. If you told me that he wrote his own speeches or talked without a teleprompter, or was tougher with certain countries in the world then I would understand and I'd probably also admire him, for that.

As I said, I admire Obama's dedication to scheduled exercise. That he sticks to it. Contrary to your complaining about Obama playing golf, I think it's important that he does; he knows what he needs to do to relax, and pretty much could care less about what complainers think.

I didn't say exercise was exclusive to Obama. Nor did I say anything as nonsensical as "paying lots of attention to exercise and golf is a must, if you want to be a good President." That's you making stuff up again, using faulty logic to form a conclusion to fit your needs to denigrate. It's like saying Bush was such a bad president because he took so many days off, which isn't true; he would have been a bad president no matter how many days he took off.

What is it with you and teleprompters? You seem to think delivering a speech without a teleprompter is the best way to deliver a speech. That's like saying people shouldn't use cell phones when they could be using rotary dials. Nonetheless, Obama has given several speeches without one. Teleprompters allow a more effective method of communication. Have you ever used a teleprompter? If you have, you'll know what I'm talking about.

As far as writing his own speeches, Obama is a great speechwriter. He wrote most of his own speeches while a senator, including the one he delivered at the Democratic National Convention that got the nation's attention.

And how do you think you know what goes on out of the public eye when it comes to being tough with certain countries. Just because he doesn't scream at people in public doesn't mean he isn't tough in private when he needs to be.

Looks like Trump and Rand Paul are going at each other. Entertaining. Wonder who Trump would want for VP? He'll probably say he needs two . . . .

Good... let them fight it out. Rand won't last more than 2-3 rounds

One of Alaska's US Senators, Dan Sullivan, showed up at the restaurant where my wife and I were celebrating the beginning of the weekend. He had to stand around 20 minutes waiting for a table just like everyone else. He didn't seem to mind the wait.

He is the guy standing in the back.

Hillary is going to have to find a scapegoat on the quick, someone to blame for her email fiasco, or she will become unelectable.

She could always blame Bush as a last resort. I'm sure the Liberal MSM will continue downplaying this incident... as they have been doing up to now

No doubt they are researching as many other email scandals as possible so she can push the whole 'right wing conspiracy' theme that worked when her husband was taking advantage of his intern.

It won't be about hey I broke the law it will be hey someone else did something remotely similar years ago and they weren't prosecuted, so this is just a right wing conspiracy.

If it's proven that she violated the law about sending/receiving classified documents, she should be held accountable like anyone else. So far, I don't think she has been charged or convicted of anything, has she?

By the way, I didn't hear you guys saying the same kind of stuff about Sarah Palin's e-mail adventures, even when she was running for VP.

This video is kind of political, depending on your perspective, so I thought I'd put it here. The background narration was Al Pacino's motivation speech from Any Given Sunday.

As long as the Liberal MSM does NOT do any investigative reporting (like they love to do with the Republicans) Hillary will be fine.

After all, she has already had enough time to delete 30.000? e-mails.

Lets wait and see, but my gut feeling is nothing will happen to her.
