Or the US. The Democrats would love him as a candidate.
LOL... forgot about that. Maybe he'll land up in a Sanctuary City and form a lovely duet with AOC...

At $15/hr more likely a Kia.

Actually KIAโ€™s have better quality than some US cars, at least thats what I hear.

But the Car dealers will now finance stretch it for 10 years at low monthly, that scam. Or a lease. They should ride a bus, or an uber. Only idiots overspend plenty of them have zero savings, few marketable skills other than a govt job and doing that, loading up on junk at costco, big screens, bmwโ€™s cheap models for wannabeโ€™s โ€œrichโ€ like a used 325 , I see today the brilliance... the banks are lowering standards on mortgages once again, like pre crash 2008/2009, wait till this all implodes again. Ridiculous.

Lady Gaga Slams

Please. You can do better quoting somebody else than that. She isnโ€™t some Mensa candidate, next thing a twit from her dopey has-been, antique cretin sisters Cher or Kathy Griffin. They all are as bright as Maxine Waters. AOC and most of her comedy act is manipulating the media really pretty well, I have to laugh. She is smarter about using the media just as Trump has, she is copying him in fact. The past couple weeks she has done nothing, but plenty of free publicity.

From the images showing massive amounts of people protesting around Venezuela today,

I wish this would be a Marcos like escape, Putin should send him a Jet.

I want to go there to stay a few months one of these days and donโ€™t want to see it look like Beirut.

That's a pretty ignorant post, simple Google search would have helped you. I think you just saw singer/entertainer and plugged in some stereotypes. She's pretty smart, went to all girls Catholic School when she was younger, college, started Born This Way Foundation etc. She has a point, Pence is the backwards/anti-gay type of Christian.

From David Stockman (about time somebody says the obvious - as dangerous as that is these days):

"NATOโ€™s obsolete. It was only set up to stop the Soviet Union with 50,000 tanks on the Warsaw front. That ended 25 years ago. We donโ€™t need NATO.

Europe can take care of itself. Russiaโ€™s a pint-sized economy - seven percent the size of the US economy. NATO-US GDP combined is 36 trillion. Russiaโ€™s is 1.5 trillion.

You think the Europeans canโ€™t handle it? Germany spends one percent only of GDP on defense. If they really thought that the Russians were heading through the Brandenburg Gate, they would be providing for their own defense.

Theyโ€™re not pacifists."

Not surprising. I havenโ€™t bought an American made vehicle in years - last one I had was a total POS. I drive what I buy for a long time and like to get at least 100k miles out of them.

But Kias are cheap - right price for that earning range.

Pretty much...

Heโ€™s setting the stage for his own Benghazi, Very dangerous for those diplomats - I hope theyโ€™ve gotten their families out of there. Maduro has threatened to cut off gas and water to them. Or is he thinking of โ€œinvadingโ€ Venezuela like he threatened a while back? Russia has interests there too...this could go global quickly.

Wag the dog.

Very ignorant statement.

With Russia invading, annexing territories and sowing trouble, NATO is certainly not becoming irrelevant.

Even the most powerful country on Earth needs allies. But you ditch them all.
Europeans are fighting on your side in Afghanistan, paying with money, equipment and blood. I thought it was your problem ?

By the way Putin and Erdogan thank you for leaving Syria. They have plans to fill in the void and shape the world without you.

Heโ€™s setting the stage for his own Benghazi,

Uh....no. Completely different country, different culture, different situation. So far, he is handling it very well. And the Washington Post is well beyond discredited, unless Bezos has sold it to pay for his divorce.

With Russia invading, annexing territories

Oh? Which territories are those? Is Europe under siege? Seemed so peaceful when I was there last year. Meanwhile, the US is in the process of invading and sowing trouble pretty much everywhere in the world.

Ukraine, Georgia... Yes, parts of Europe are definitely under siege and Trump is not helping by befriending the aggressor.

Yes, the US is a problem country too. But the US is our ally (or used to be), Russia is not.

Besides, it never crossed your mind that behind the rhetoric it's all about trade ? Trump wants Europeans to raise defense spending so that they buy more American weapons.
When the Europeans move toward diminishing their reliance on the US, Trump is unhappy. Interesting.

But since you disrespect allies (not my words but Mattis'), you shouldn't be surprised if they prefer to shop for weapons elsewhere.

I don't have subscription to the WaPo so can't read the article. Trump want's EU to pay more for their defense so we don't have too.

None have paid their promised share of the cost to NATO leaving the USA to pick up the slack. One of his campaign promises was to make EU pay what they owe. That's not a conspiracy to sell guns.

There's the rub right? How long does the USA have to stay in Syria? Does the USA have to fight Iran for control of Syria? Is the USA going to be responsible for rebuilding that state too?

If the people of Syria want a democracy, they should align with Israel and Egypt.

Wag the dog.

12 other nations are doing the same. According to Marco Rubio, Maduro is being propped up by the Cuban military. It's dangerous but not as distant as Benghazi. We probably already have naval ships in range.

I don't either. It's not needed.

That's not a conspiracy to sell guns.
I think it could be.

But the Europeans do not owe the US money. Each country determines how much it contributes to the general NATO budget. Some countries contribute with money, others with equipment or personnel and blood. But I agree they should do more.
It's not unreasonable to expect a stronger commitment from them. What is wrong is to treat your allies like dirt while cozying up with foreign hostile powers.

But if Trump really things NATO is obsolete why does he want reinforcement ?
Make your mind up. Hint: $$$$$$$$

I think they are obligated by treaty to give a % of their GDP, which they haven't done in a long time. Last article I read was Merkel agreed to pay more then didn't.
