To each their own. That's the beauty of state's rights. I don't think people in California should be forced to live by the standards of Southern Baptist Georgia. Nor should people in Georgia be forced to live by the standards of San Francisco. I have enjoyed plenty of decadence in my life, without regret, but I also recognize that widespread decadence has always historically preceded the end of various civilizations and societies.

As an outlier or outlet, decadence can be fine. When it becomes mainstream, society is generally in trouble.
