Walls have worked in every country that uses them, including EU and IL but somehow can't work in the USA because of technology or some other bullsh*t.

The reason democrats don't want a wall, you can't turn it off or stop it from working. It's an impediment to smuggling, immigration, sex trafficking.

This is what happens with somebody like Trump. Got folded on wall funding, saying we need it, so then covers his ass:

Pretty sure you're taking the "border is tight" thing out of context regarding the entire border. I don't know what leverage he has except D's and R's all want to go home and may give him something. At least he can say he tried if they don't. I don't think a short shut-down hurts him.

Trumps "Market" has been propped up with a Corporate Tax cut that we the people only received a few to no crumbs compared to the massive tax breaks companies got and used for stock buy backs and not to raise pay.
Add that to his Tariffs and his not understating how the economy and government really works and you have a recipe for disaster.

The wages went up a slight above inflation and that was to be expected for this year, those were the crumbs.
Companies pocketed billions upon billions more then they gave in any increase wages.
Ask people you know how much their wages went up in the last year and and then ask if they are also having to spend more on necessities.

As for the Unemployment Rate what do you see below?

I see that Obama took over a bad Autopilot unemployment rate on its way up, but then he took it from 10% to 4.7%
And Trump took it over when it was on a great Autopilot.
I give Trump about 3/4 point % credit but that's it.

But he is about to give it all back and more.
