For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

Telnic should turn back the clock of time, rethink of all the specifications and then launch .tel with an unbastardized DNS. But hindsight is always 20/20. When a TLD is allowed to go live all while in alpha, the end result is this conversation. I heard Tiger Woods is looking for sponsors, maybe Telnic should give him a call.

But yes, I think celebrity use of .tel is going to be 110% necessary. This is at its heart a social networking platform that isn't free. No matter how cool Telnic makes it (the redesigned templates were a step forward), there needs to be a social pressure for people to buy into it.

For .tel to reach the levels that supporters hope it will, it needs to be at the point where people fear being asked what their .tel is and not having one.

if you want to measure the stats why don't you pull the logs from the telnic provided service? gives you the raw access logs...

alternative is if you have a logo on your dot tel, you can track your own stats by viewing how many times the logo was viewed...

There's a big difference between sexy and just plain nasty (like body painting naked teenyboppers and somebody getting a b-job at the Playboy Mansion and everyone thinking it's cool).

There is nothing wrong with adding a little tasteful spice to ads, men or women, but with clothes on. Haven't you noticed that some of the sexiest people never do nude shoots?

In my opinion, sexiness in advertising is "suggestive," not blatant, and that's what I meant.

I don't get the sense that Telnic would do something distasteful.

I believe Realtor(s) is a registered trademark, so be careful.

You are right. It is most definitely a trademark. The National Association of Realtors actively protect the mark and they can get very nasty. Only Realtors can use the name.

He needs to be a licensed Realtor, not just a Real Estate Agent. Believe it or not, there's a difference.
