Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

I have yet to receive the official word, but the 3 .tels I had pre-ordered at DM all are listed as being on DM's nameservers and as being locked.. that all about??

How do you check that?

I didn't think they'd actually have to take the money OUT of my account for pre-auth.

I entirely share your view, but considering what I mentioned in a previous post regarding having enough funds deposited with the registry, this might be the explanation - as you know, in some cases, it is possible to refund an account within a few hours.

The strangest registrar is Name.com - well, at least strangest panel: a .tel which I submitted two days ago for LR and prepaid is still shown... pending submission! 35 minutes after the start of the LR! Let's hope it is just an update problem in the panel...

Could not connect to central registry whois server: whois.nic.tel.​

So someone got it. Just have to wait to see who.

you silly kids... you probably have to wait 2-3 days before you even find out whatcha got.

this is the way landrush pre-registrations worked with most of the registrars that offered .mobi 2 years ago...
