Jepaa (Jepaa.com) : The great .Tel domain search engine

Hi Guys,
Finally, some guys from Switzerland developed a great .tel domain search engine, like .tel itself, it is mobile device friendly and with keywords search, city location search (google maps). it supports English, German (Deutsch ) ,Spanish, French and Italian ,It is really great!

There TWO Sites live, both mobile device friendly:

Jepaa.com

Jepaa.mobi

This is really a good thing for .tel domain lovers. Does any body know when Telnic will release its .tel search engine telpages.com?

Very nice!

I found several of my .Tels within its index.

Thanks again!

I just had search on keyword India and you can see the spamming.

Longest I could see is "the-gandhi-restarurant.indian.restaurants.cambs tel"

I think this SE will need some good SE algorithm. ;)

Yes, I also found when you search, it lists almost all the sub-domains of .tels, I think it just came out, those Jepaa guys will and capable of improving it with a good search and ranking algorithm, let's see.

That's quite interesting, especially as cambs [dot] tel is one that I've been populating. It's good to see that all Indian restaurants in the Cambridge/UK area are listed when you search Jepaa for the word India! (certainly not complaining!) ;)

Also of interest is the fact that I haven't really been entering keywords at this stage (whilst I work out the best structure/layout for the site).

I haven't "submitted" the site to google but pleased to see that a search does display cambs [dot] tel on the 1st page.

I'm a bit of newbie so if anyone has any advice on the following I would be very grateful:

1) Should I make the effort and enter keywords at this stage regardless of whether I restructure cambs.tel?

2) What's the best approach with google, what do I need to do? It's all ready listed on google and I haven't done anything.

3) Any pointers as to how cambs [dot] tel might be better structured?

Thoughts and comments appreciated, both positive and negative! :)

I could see, in the near future that .tel domains will replace having to memorize text numbers. Instead of texting to 45422, those commercials will say, visit Horoscopes.tel

It will do what domain names did to having to memorize IP addresses. :sold:

Have to wait until the vast majority of cellphones have internet on them to see what will happen, but there is no reason why .com won't dominate there too.

Not really a search engine as it doesnt index using algorithm, when you type some keywords you get a list of tens of sub directories of a dot tel name all from that same dot tel name.

Hope to get a real search engine for .tel that uses algorithm to rank dot tels and not display all sub dir of some dot tels.

www.jepaa.mobi scores 1/5 on ready.mobi
MobiReady Report... processing your page

is that a .tel page then as look at the download costs and speed of loading
it's not mobile friendly
