Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

Ive been working on dot tel to see how to effectively use or benefits from this technology.

Some had said that it's for building directories while others said for contact information.

Also for directories you can add 100 items in each folder and up to 1000 folders so directory will be nice for small ones not more than 100 listings and I can understand this limit bacause of browsing and searching convinient will not be easy over these numbers of listings and folders.

For contact information, as simple as name, adress, link to website, it will be used by the majority of end users as personal or business.

But I found that both or great depending of what domain you have but you also can use these 2 ideas to merge in one.

Also the great thing is the GEO location so any Geo dot tel will fully benefits from it.

You can test on alaska real estate dot tel also when click on Anchorage link it displays link to property listings (not real links just for test)
This is using contact info+directory+geolocation+link

I think that end users will really benefits from dot tel if know what to do with it.

Any comments or ideas found are welcome.

P.S: do not post full url to the dot tel to avoid google crawl, thks.

Jag.tel is a site that has domains that are mine for sale, now if someone clicks on a domain they will get the sedoparking page for that domain and if they click on any ads then I thats a click and I get $$ but if that person decides to place a bid then thats more $$$

Well I guess we should be happy that you're happy. However when I key in those words (even with quotes), try it plural or singular, add in 'salon', etc., I don't see 'one' .tel anything on any Google first page! Not sure it's your .tel, that's making you so happy, but if it's for results, I'd check again.

BTW, I live here in Sherman Oaks!

I haven't done this yet (and won't if it's against TOS), but this is what I would do:

1. On ring-tones [dot] tel, place a link to ringtonestel [dot] com, which would be parked on Sedo. Under description: "Get ringtones here"

2. Place a link to Sedo sales page for Ring-Tones [dot] tel. Description: "Domain For Sale"​

If linking to a parked page is against Sedo TOS, I'd forget about parking the dot-com version altogether and build a mini-site on it instead and link the .tel to that instead (1).

If Sedo doesn't like that, too bad. In that case, they would be overreaching, especially if the .com were NOT parked on their platform.

Hi all

Just a quick question

I am trying to copy all my folders and info from one .tel domain to 3 others .tel names (all at Dynadot)

I thought I could select "ALL" under Contact Information and then select "Copy To" and then I would be given the option to select other names. All I am getting is the red bar at the top saying "No Records Selected"

Can you please tell me how I select all the folders and copy them to my other .tel names so I dont have to do it manually

Can't link to the offer page as the link is to big, and I personally dont think what Im doing is TOS, but can someone please conform for 100% if it is or not please.

It's pretty common knowledge that you can not link to parked pages. It's a fairly effective way to have your account blocked. You CAN link to an offer page though. From our friends at
