JACKSON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio school district decided Tuesday night to keep a portrait of Jesus hanging in the school where it's been 65 years, denying a federal lawsuit's claim the portrait's display unconstitutionally promotes religion in a public school.

The Jackson City Schools board offered a constitutional justification of its own in voting 4-0 to keep the portrait up in its middle school, saying it must protect students' free speech rights. The vote drew cheers and applause from the dozens of people gathered in the elementary school gymnasium.

Good debate about what day is the weekly Sabbath should be observed; Saturday or Sunday??

You really only need a few versus to prove the Sabbath is still the last day of the week.

The purpose of the Sabbath​

In order for every love relationship to grow, there must be time set aside to develop that bond. The Sabbath was a time set by God that man may stop his daily work and commune with Him. The Sabbath was given more as a gift than a command. It is like a married couple set special time for a date night so that they may draw closer to each other.

1 So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. 2 On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested a from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

• Mark 2:27 says the Sabbath was made for man. The Sabbath was made at creation. Therefore God created the Sabbath for man. There were no Jews at the time. God would not create the Sabbath just for Himself. God is love and He made the Sabbath as a gift for others.

The fourth Commandment starts with "Remember".

8 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the LORD made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

Daniel prophesies the Anti-Christ will change law and times of sacred days.

25 He will defy the Most High and oppress the holy people of the Most High. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws, and they will be placed under his control for a time, times, and half a time.

Does it matter if you observer the Sabbath on the Last for First day of the week? Yes.

The Sabbath isn't just a sacred day, it is a day set aside from the beginning of the world by God for man to take rest and spend time in God's presence. God tells us to "Remember" this day, in His law, the 10 commandments.

The anti-christ has fooled the church and convinced man he has the power to change God's laws. In the end, the Government will try to force you to worship on the first day of the week.

That is the sign of the beast, not a number or badge. The devil wants to be God and if you refuse to worship his counterfeit religion, you will be prevented from buying or selling.

makes you wonder in the BC of the bible if dinosaurs were scarcely still around. hmmm

we Muslims believe in the Bible and Torah, but also believe that the Bible and Torah were rewrotten many times and a lot was lost to translation, or added, or removed.

for example, we can find three talkers in the bible:

1) God: "I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior." - Isaiah 43:11
2) Jesus: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” " - Matthew 27:46
3) Third person: "Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he(Jesus) went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs." - Mark 11:13

and the majority of the bible was written by the third type. Not God, Not Jesus. And a lot was written after Jesus went away.


in Islam for example, we have separate books for each type:

1) The Quran, only has God's words. and was written in the time of the prophet, 100% as is. nothing was changed or lost.
2) the prophet's sayings are also separate in other books.
3) we also have stories by people who lived with him, in separate books too.

and we don't give same value to all books. Obviously the Quran has more value. than the others.

and the prophet's sayings, and the stories by people who lived with him are also separated from strong to weak. Strong being it really happened, a weak prophet's saying means that it was added later and we don't follow it. and if a prophet's saying is contradicting the Quran, we take the Quran's words. and judge the saying as weak...

so we have checks, not like the bible or torah. but we still believe in the lost originals, and we love Jesus as a human prophet, not God, just like Moses.

That's why you'll never find a verse in the Bible where Jesus said to people to worship him and not God.
The message of all prophets was always one, worship the one God who created everything. And after the romans started forcing trinity on people, God sent his last prophet. Muhammad.

It began to move away from Peter and the rest of the Apostles, who were taught directly from Christ himself.

It began to move away from Judeo values into values and theology rooted in paganism.

We must find a way back...

Ok, I have a question

I’m seeing a lot of beef on social media between conservatives on whether or not someone is a Christian if they believe in the Trinity or not.

If somebody doesn’t believe in it, doesn’t believe Jesus is Lord, do you think they’re Christian?

There are high quality people both Christians and Non-Christians. The trinity is something foundational, but if someone were to believe in the separation between Father, Son & Holy Spirit God be the judge if they are Christian.

Jesus was (is) God in human form, he was created to be a sacrafice for us in the direct path of God and us, because we are so tainted by sin of the earth (passage that comes to mind is how Moses in Gods presence on holy ground was inflicted with leprosy instantly and temporarily). He is the symbolism of death to sin and love to the sinner. Without him we can not have a perfect relationship with God, thus he is God as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit. He joined God in heaven and said he would be on the right hand side of God. Im thinking Michael (Gabriel) is on the left hand side but thats only my opinion.

update: Seraphims are the closest angels to God. They are known as the burning ones, praising God continuously and guarding his throne. My bad, the archangels must be forever busy with their titles. lol.

alchemy is the art of inner transformation. transmutation. where in the end we become a jesus like being. with a soul. which believe it or not is not something most come with... but something that needs developing and work. and then when vehicle body ready it literally descends upon us. for many a man a soul doth never descend. thus many a man doth birth and die .. soulless.

may divine grace and wisdom descend upon you. and true peace bless your weary hearts. for no man owns a thing if he not own his soul at peace.

Jesus was (and is) real and no reputable scholar disagrees the debate always centers on his deity. To be a Christian you have to believe Jesus is God. To be high quality you do not have to believe in God. I'd say be safe and trust Jesus for forgiveness of all your sins. He is the way ---the truth--- and the life. Without faith we can't please God and without Jesus we are not Christian. Again, being atheist you can be moral but we can't say for sure what happens when you die and I will not judge that. Jesus gives us peace with God, He is real and always will be worshipped.
