It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

Consulting.pro has been sold for โ‚ฌ3.500 .

Another great sale in only the second week of 2010.

Hopefully more to follow in the coming weeks.

how did you promote or sell this name? any suggestions?

I've got several others

It's good to see some higher dollar sales. I've got ConferenceCall.pro | that I'm excited about.
I also have facts.pro that I'm considering building out.

I like the ring of the professional domains. Just hoping that at some point other people begin to feel the same way...

This sale wasn't mine. It was posted on Domain Name Wire.

I like this extension, along with .me and .tel...I think the brandability is what sets these apart from your run of the mill extensions...Plus, I plan to develop my .pros, so I'm not as concerned what domaners think of this extension...I think a good .pro is a long term hold, it might take a few years to really reap the benefits of this underrated extension...

some of us are about to start their SIXTH year of .PRO-ing.

I have decided to just put mini-sites on my domains.

I have decided to just put mini-sites on my domains.

Yup. I've had .PRO's a long time, and not much action.
I have a mini-site up for treadmill.pro, but it never generates income.
No SERP and not much SEO. Too competitive a field for a fake to
make money with a mini-site ... I'm sure it could turn into something
if I tried to get into the treadmill business.

I have others to develop, but I'm turning my attention to other TLDs
now - keyword coms, infos... We'll see how that goes.

I have on com that got me about $50 in a year with a small site,
with only 360/mo searches/mo on that keyword pair, so I figure
I should be able to do better with other names. We'll see

is any of .pro's really making money parked or with minisites?

I've had Cats.pro up for a year or more now and it steadily grows. It takes about 1100 views per month. Got sidetracked on a few other sites so Cats has just been sitting.

I've seen a number of Pros on page one of google in the 2 and 3 spot so it can be done. I think you don't see very many Pros high in the rankings simply because the owner isn't pushing it or it's a poor keyword.

mine make nothing parked. I have been leaving some parked at sedo not for the ppc results, but so that visitors might get the idea that the domain was for sale and make an offer.

not getting offers at all. so I recently decided to just treat them like keyword domains and put up minisites.

traductor is a spanish term for translator, but I doubt if it was genuine bid.
Just 1? Can anyone confirm it's legitimacy?

I think it's a real bid, due to the seller is a well known Spanish domainer and he sold another .pro in the past (consultores.pro, anuncios.pro, clasificados.pro, mascotas.pro...). :gl:

I don't know about you guys, but traffic & clicks is increasing in my .pros.
Anybody experiencing the same?

When you analyse your traffic, where is it coming from? I can see no inbound links to Cats.pro on Google. There are no meta keywords in your code. As far as I can see, the site has a page rank of 0 on Google.

Pardon the pun, but does .PRO have "Listless Reg" syndrome?
