On Feb. 05, 2008 all premium LLLL.net were bough out.

Its time to start LLLL.org countdown.

I'm registering with acronyms in mind. I see countless LLL and LLLL .orgs from organizations using acronyms. Most of these have started or ended with "A" ("Association" or "America/n") or "I" ("International").

need a company or individual to pick up a large chunk of LLLL.org's
to actually create demand. The other disadvantage for .org's
is that, not many commercial establishments will be interested in them.

all these non-commercial organizations will pay some mid $xxx without much negotiations imho. I sold one LLLL.org to a museum that already had it's one site but with long name.

There's very good end user potential for these, just as strong -- if not stronger -- than LLLL .com. There are a lot of four-letter acronym-based organizations. Reading through this thread, there have been a number of sales to end users using acronyms.
